Vegan Haggis- good, but so oily! - Edit
Check it off the list..... vegan haggis was tasty, but so dripping in oil I don't think I would ever order again here. There's got to be a better way... but if you're driving by and need an option, an option it is.

Not a bad stop - Edit
Stopped on our way out of Skye. The person working was kind, but they were out of most of their vegan menu. A good thing, perhaps! Our options were veggie burger, cauliflower nuggets, or chicken-less nuggets. We went with chicken-less nuggets and two oat americanos. Not bad for a quick road snack. Bummer we didn’t get to try the fish less sticks or the haggis! they also had a case of hot pastries, so we grabbed the last vegan sausage roll. delish!

Options missing - Edit
Not sure if the options were being reduced or just none in stock. Wanted the fishless fingers but none available. Otherwise, haggis supper was tasty enough.

Great vegan options! - Edit
We had the non-fish and chips with vegan haggis. Fish was good, but the haggis was AMAZING! HUGE FAN!

Brilliant - Edit
Friendly staff. So nice to have a separate vegan menu and to be told they fry the vegan food in their own separate fryer too. The haggis was delicious and huge portions . The fish was great but a very small portion. We timed in with fresh fried chips which were great, not too greasy and really fluffy potatoes! Brilliant dinner on the go :)

Its decent - Edit
They have vegan burgers, sausages, haggis and nuggets. The food itself isn't brilliant (maybe thats what a real chippy tastes like, I honestly don't know), a bit on the greasy side but overall glad it was there when we were hungry. Staff seems to know what is vegan and what is not

So many options! - Edit
We were so so so pleasantly surprised by how many vegan options there were at this chippy! The chips were lovely, we were a bit surprised the sausages weren't battered but we still really enjoyed them!

Chips n Pasty - Edit
Long winter walk followed by hunger so as a special treat we headed to the Broadford chippy for their vegan options. They’re outta ‘fish’ cakes do I had the pasty n chips while my wife had the sausages(3) n chips. Both quite nice on a perishing afternoon. Friendly staff, recommended 🏴👍

Service bad, food ok - Edit
I had vegan haggis, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. The chips and curry sauce were tasty. The vegan haggis bland and the mushy peas cold. I was very hungry so ate most of it and the price at £6.95, plus £1.50 each for curry sauce and the peas, not too bad for Skye. Service was just odd though. They advertise as vegan friendly but that's not the impression I got. I asked how the haggis came and just got an annoyed response of ' it's fried vegetables, everything's fried'? I asked a couple more questions but was getting blank responses. It was not busy and I wasn't holding anyone up. After me another customer ( non vegan order) got similar service. Ok for a stop if you're hungry and just want food I suppose!

Vegan chips! - Edit
Great place to get chips, lots of vegan options and is made to order as they have separate fryers for vegan stuff. There's benches across the road so you can sit right on the coast when you eat your chips. There were beautiful gulls who patiently awaited for chips while we ate.

Great options - Edit
Siaway was our first stop on arrival in Skye, as soon as I had heard there was a chip shop doing vegan haggis there was no discussion to be had on where we'd be having our first dinner. Service was friendly and efficient, it took just over 10 mins to cook up our haggis to order and we sat and enjoyed it on a bench on the sea front. Food was delicious, as expected. It's a good job I don't live in Skye otherwise I'd be here every night.

Great chippy options - Edit
We visited (twice) in June 2021 and were really impressed with the vegan options. They didn't have everything that was on the vegan menu available either time but we tried the sausages, the burger and the haggis and all were delicious. They also had a range of vegan pasties. Everything on the vegan menu is cooked in vegetable oil in a separate fryer. Definitely worth a visit!

Lots of Vegan options - Edit
Great chip shop with lots of vegan options such as vegan fish cake, nuggets, burger, sausage roll and pasty.
Read moreThey had ran out of most of their vegan options and only had the vegan sausage roll and vegan pasty when we were there. So we got one of each and they were both delicious. The chips are nice and fluffy, good mushy peas and curry sauce too.
The guy in front of us had the vegan burger and vegan nuggets which looked really good.
If they had ran out of all the vegan options I would have been happy with just chips and peas
Pros: Great chip shop with lots of vegan options , Good value
Cons: Can get quite busy, be prepared to wait
