Vegetarian steak house. Chinese only menu featuring sizzling entrees of vegetarian mock meats (with noodles & veggies), hot pots, and set meals that comes with a soup, salad, entree, and drink. Small & family-run, nice decor, friendly fast service. Expensive for the kind of food served. Reported closed, Feb 2020.

Fair Taste

We had originally thought we were going to a large western-style restaurant, and it turned out to be a small restaurant with a friendly family that runs the operation. We ordered the mock chicken sizzler entree (NT$220) which came with noodles and too little veggies. The taste was pretty good. We also ordered a hot pot (NT$200) of mild ginseng broth & veggies, one of the only hot pot choices without dairy. Again, it was too little veggies but too much mock seafood meats. The soup itself was very tasty. It is recommended to go with someone who speaks & reads Chinese.

Pros: good soup flavor, friendly service, nice causal setting

Cons: too much mock meats, not enough green veggies, pricey for the food
