Serves meat, vegan options available. Thai restaurant where a few of the appetizers, like the tofu triangles, are vegan. For entrees, ask the staff to suggest what can be adapted for vegans, such as the drunken noodles or tofu himarapan. Be sure to specify spice level as food can be rather spicy.

Really enjoyed our meal

Lots of vegetarian options that can be made with vegetable or tofu. Hit the spot after a long hike.

Many options, but be careful!

Had a pretty nice dinner here on a weeknight. Good service with lots of 'vegetarian' options. We made it clear to our server that we were both vegan, and we ordered two dishes from the vegetarian menu, again emphasizing the vegan angle. The server took our order and then asked about using oyster sauce. We said no fish sauce or anything else that had to be caught from the ocean. I guess everything on the menu gets a hit of oyster sauce. Reminded me of a Chinese restaurant that used chicken stock in all their 'Vegetarian Specials' because it made 'everything taste better'. The Pad Thai was good, but my supposedly spicy vegetable curry was mild at best. The server asked whether I wanted it mild, medium, hot, or Thai hot, and I ordered Thai hot. That must have gotten lost in translation to the chef. No worries, the veggies were fresh and held up on their own, but one of the reasons we chose Thai was for the spicy flavors.

Pros: Lots of veggie options, Hardly ever crowded, Good service

Cons: Specify 'vegan' at least twice to your server!, Oyster sauce used in most, if not all dishes., Parking always sucks in Great Barrington.

Following up on this review 3 years later, after we gave them another try. The owner greeted us warmly and was very accommodating to our vegan diet. We ordered the same dishes as above, with the Pad Thai made without any egg, and my curry was perfectly spiced this time round at a 7/10. Unfortunately, the three soups all are made with fish stock.

Pretty decent Thai food in the Berkshires

Was surprised to find such a good Thai place in the middle of the berkshires. Try the drunken noodles and the tofu himarapan.
