Back in Barnsley for a few days & found a Vegan eatery! Very impressed. Had the Sietan mushroom burger - best I've had.
Cheesecake - lovely!

Yummy lunch - Edit
Tucked away on a residential street, this place is a real gem! Had a delicious mushroom seitan burger (lunch options were burgers, pizza and a wrap but I was sold on the first burger option) and took some cheesecake and a brownie away for afters. Also some nice bits and bobs for sale, bought a vegan necklace and some vego/sarelle choc. Owner was friendly. Note no toilet available so go before or after!

Tasty and plentiful! - Edit
I've eaten here a few times. The food is delicious and the portions generous. The seitan burger was amazing. but I'd recommend everything I've tried. The owner is very friendly and open to chat about food and veganism. It has a lovely feel to it, with water and magazines provided so you could easily spend a few hours here. I have friends who've gone for breakfast and ended up staying for lunch!
Pros: varied menu, generous portions

Nicest place to eat in Barnsley - Edit
I love visiting Shut Up and Eat to eat in or take away. The Spicy Tofu pizza is the nicest pizza I have ever had. The side salads are very generous, fresh and tasty. I loved the hazelnut sponge cake and my husband can't get enough of the cheesecake, may have to buy him a whole one one day :D My kids love the burgers and I love knowing that they are not eating rubbish if I take them out for a treat.
Pros: Healthy Food, Interesting Menus, Friendly atmosphere
Cons: Opening hours don't sync with my free time

Beautiful! - Edit
I visited earlier today and I am absolutely amazed by the quality of the food / beverage! The cafe really is cute and has such a humble vibe, the prices are very(!) reasonable and the customer service is one of the best I have ever recieved! Highly recommended to any vegan / vegetarian passing through / living in or near barnsley!

Lovely, amazing cheesecake! - Edit
Nice friendly health conscious vegan eatery outside of the town centre. I had the garlic and mushroom seitan burger with cashew cheese, brilliant, side salad nice too (perhaps lemon/ orange/ sundried/ garlic/ herb oil/ etc to fully finish it off?) tasty and wholesome though. Cheesecake wonderful, beats pure on raw, took enough for takeaway too. Will go again! Highly recommended.
Pros: 100% vegan , Friendly staff, Pleasant decor, good value
Cons: Parking., Opening hours settling (check first).
