GZ has no good vegan options - tell me I’m wrong - Edit
Guangzhou is disappointing for vegan options. As far as I can see there are only Chinese places like this, or some Indian restaurants with vegan options, or lacklustre western places. This looked like the most promising Chinese spot, but the food was just decent and the price was higher than expected. The place itself was modern and nice but the mall it’s inside of is old and not a great vibe. I wouldn’t return. Still seeking a strong GZ vegan option!

Vegan Chinese Feast - Edit
I tried this tonight with 4 non-vegetarians and we all really enjoyed the meal! Chinese dishes but more modern: less oil and more vegetables! There were small pieces of fake meat in a few of the dishes, but the dishes were mainly vegetable-based. The menu is only in Chinese, you can see pictures of the dishes on WeChat. The friendly owner spoke English and helped us make a choice. We ordered about 10 dishes for 5 people and it came to 400 Yuan.
