Their must try- chicken rice ball ( only in the morning, sold out early) / cheechongfan/ laksa! Serving is small, so you can order more food to try.

Large portions, very low prices, delicious food. What more could you want? Tons of locals there and you need to wait a bit to catch someone’s attention to order, but it’s so worth it.

the dishes come with sizes (small/large). no meal was above 6 MYR. they have big menu, and also daily specials. i ordered an iced milo & a small laksa for 8 MYR. the laksa was incredible, but the noodles were made from egg — for vegan maybe ask if they have rice noodles. looooved the milo as well!

When I was in Malacca more than a decade ago, this eatery was my favourite and I was having both breakfast and lunch here. I am glad that it is still standing and now renovated.
Read moreThis coffee shop style eatery serves Singapore/Malaysia local dishes: mee rebus, laksa, wan tan mee, "prawn mee", chicken rice etc. There is a standard daily menu, plus some dishes that are available only on different days of the week.
The food is tasty and inexpensive.
It is conveniently located in the heart of Jonker street area.
I loved eating at this place.

When we entered a man greeted us enthusiastically and helped us with choosing something from the menu. They have daily items and weekly items, so some are only available on Monday, Tuesday, etc. We had the laksa and a mee and two Chinese tea and only had to pay 9,40. So cheap and the food was so good!! Not too spicy and very very tasty. Don't miss this when in Melaka! Closes 14:30 so be early if you want the special daily deals :)

I loved the food here! I had the laksa and it was so delicious. Also tried the vege dumplings and it was very tasty. About 5 ringgit a meal, so very cheap. Next door you have a big vegetarian supermarket.

Come here for the vegetarian version of malaccas rice balls and chicken, they were delicious! Also the staff are very friendly and helpful with picking a dish! We also had a noodle dish with mock meat which was delicious

Cheap and cheerful, the waiter is super keeewl! I tried half the menu, everything tasted good, special mention to the Wan tan mee, and the simple chee cheong fun, always a hit.

We looked for vegetarian place for lunch nearby and found this on happycow!
Read moreThe menu looks nice (including veg chicken rice balls, laksa, nasi lemak and many more as well as daily specials). The food itself wasn't outstanding but okay! Unfortunately they had already run out of two things we'd have liked to try. But we didn't leave hungry though! They have several big green signs saying "vegetarian" - so it's hard to miss it :) close to many of the melaka sights/jonker street.

This is a simple vegetarian shop which sells mixed rice & thier daily specials! Food is quite cheap! But be warned parking can be very hard to find!
