Roasts - Edit
We're staying here on holiday and were lucky enough to see on IG that there were roasts at the Keppel's head. Prebooking was easy and requires a £10 deposit at the time of booking.
Read moreOne of us had the Wellington and the other the "lamb". Can't fault any of it, it was delicious and the portion sizes were huge! All the trimmings including stuffing, mash, roasties, leeks, cauliflower cheese and a Yorkshire pudding (which was the beat vegan version I've ever had). Plentiful gravy too, with absolutely no room for dessert or dinner this evening 😂

The roast is great!
The cauliflower cheese - very nice cheesy sauce, the gravy is obviously home made and flavourful and the alternative meats are very good, the Wellington is great
And best of all, this roast comes with an incredible Yorkshire pudding !!
They have pop ups once a month but book in advance to get a seat and they're good with allergens if you have any

The Mac and cheese is soo yummy!! I wish they were open more regularly and for longer but when I can get there it is so worth it! A little bit of a long wait for food but it was worth it when it came! The shroom shakes were super yummy, banana and chocolate flavour! They also had a vanilla matcha flavour.

I’m vegan, and i thought it was wonderful. My friend however, eats meat. He stated that it was quite possibly the best burger he’s ever had (we both had the ‘B12’). Wonderful food, wonderful people. TRY IT!

Great vibes, gorgeous food, friendly staff. The truffle fries, mushroom tenders and homemade garlic mayo were particularly good. A bit pricey but all made in-house and tasted amazing. Looking forward to visiting their next pop-up in January.

Shroom is a fully vegan, mushroom themed pop up 🍄 everything from the mayos, to the sauces and the patties are made 100% from scratch. Visit while you can due to the temporary nature of the pop up 💖
