Nice lunch options - Edit
A nice location near the harbour for lunch. I had the avocado on sourdough toast. Strangely they offer two versions of this and the only difference I could see was the Salsa, which added £2 to the price. The same location has a restaurant for evening meals but the only vegan option is a burger.

Lots of choice - Edit
Given the number of tourists who visit, we shouldn't have been surprised at the various restaurants offering vegan food in Charlestown but we were. Short & Strong have oat, rice and almond for your hot drinks, four vegan sandwich choices, a Buddha bowl and an all day vegan breakfast.
Read moreWe had the last two. The Buddha bowl was quite unusual, esp as had no rice, quinoa etc with it. Fried kale with chickpeas, tortilla chips, hummus and guacamole, salad. It was tasty but if I'd been hungrier, it would not have been enough as a main meal.
My partner had the breakfast, Good amount of food and tasty, well cooked.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Relaxed space, Well cooked food
Cons: Food served on paper in plastic plates., Paper gets damp under hot, juicy food and tears, Paper could get in food if you are not careful

Nice chilled atmosphere - Edit
The vegan Buddha bowl was packed with a yummy interesting selection. My husband had the vegan brunch, he was quiet the entire time eating it which is a great sign that he throughly enjoyed it.

Vegan food with eggs and pork sausages - Edit
Shocked, wouldn’t do the vegan brunch again, it wasn’t vegan, had to point out fried eggs weren’t vegan, plate returned with out eggs but yolk and egg white on various items left on plate, the sausages weren’t vegan either. #Veganuary

Good breakfast options - Edit
Delicious chai latte, the vegan brunch was good too. They'd run out of mushrooms so gave is hash browns instead. On leaving we realised we were meant to get tofu scramble with it but ours didnt have any so not sure if they'd run out of that too and just forgot to tell us.

Mediocre - Edit
Quite a few vegan options on the menu. Including vegan cakes. My bf had vegan breakfast which he enjoyed. I had peanut butter and banana on toast, was so dry and disappointing, came with a salad 🥴. However they had nice coffee and superfood lattes.
