Delicious and welcoming

We arrived at about 1pm and lunch was sold out, but the owner offered to make us something anyway. I’m not sure exactly what we had because our Japanese is terrible and the owner only speaks Japanese, but it was fantastic. The grilled mushrooms were smoky and wonderful, and the soya pudding with brown sugar syrup was above any expectations. Worth the trip out of town.

Piccolo bistro vegano

Tutto buonissimo, veramente consigliato.

Delicious vegan lunch

It was totally worth the short drive from Takamatsu city to visit the Sora cafe.

Parking is available next to the house.

Adorable and delicious food

This tiny café is easily missed because of its anonymous location but it's absolutely worth a trip if you happen to be in the area.
We arrived rather late so we agreed to let the owner choose our plates. With this premise my hopes weren't too high but I was amazed at the quality of the components of our plates, every bite was flavourful and varied. A special mention to the grilled aubergines which were loved by someone who doesn't normally like them and the seitan which was heavenly soft. As a starter we had a light pea soup and for dessert a chesecake-ice and a "purin", the Japanese equivalent to creme caramel, this one was particularly good in recreating the richness of the dairy version.
There are also sable biscuits on sale, they are great so don't leave without buying one!

Pros: Cute atmosphere , Great food

Cons: There is nothing in the area

Amazing

The curry set plate was very good, it was tasty, healthy and filling. I also had a nut and raisin muffin which was also excellent, beautiful consistency and not excessively sweet. The set plate and the muffin cost me a little under 1400yen which is very reasonable for japan.
All in all Some of the best vegan food I've had in japan so far, if you are anywhere near this place I would highly recommend popping in ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pros: Healthy, Delicious , Reasonably priced

Amazing food, beautiful location

Totally loved this place. If you are hiking the Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage, you should definitely make a stop. The lunch is at 1000¥ per set, portions are very fair and taste is quite great. The deserts are amazing as well. It’s an oriental vegan restaurant (no garlic, no roots).

Pros: Lots of options, Beautiful location, Fair Pricing

Cons: A bit far from everything, Menu in Japanese only

Lovely vegan cafe with some of the best vegan food on Shikoku

The owner of this cafe is very sweet and prepares a lunch plate menu which I think changes weekly or so. Rest assured the food is delicious. The owner said about 90% of the ingredients she uses are grown locally, and organic. We ended up coming back again, the day after our first visit, and agreed that it was some of the best food we found on all of Shikoku. If you are in or near Takamatsu, it is definitely worth the effort to come here, and perhaps driving up to the top of Yashima mountain while you're in the area. If you don't speak Japanese and can't read the menu, just order the lunch set I'd say, or something sweet if you're not too hungry. If you arrive before 4pm, unless it's abnormally busy, you should be able to order lunch.
