Examples include ramen, edamame, miso soup, vegetable tempura, any salad without meat, vegetable sushi and 3 types of fried rice, among other items. The clear soup contains beef broth but can be replaced with miso soup on request. The ohsinko pickle sushi is noiw vegan as is the Tom yum paste. The milk tea base isn't vegan friendly. I wanted to like it - Edit
…because I love vegan Thai food. I tried twice to go there, but after just a few questions with inconsistent answers, I had zero confidence that my food would actually be vegan. And after two or three attempts for an accurate answer, they didn’t seem to care…on to the next customer. When I want to eat out in this town, I feel much less stress by just doing the garden bar with a baked potato or steamed broccoli at Ruby Tuesday. IMO, flex those is-it-really-vegan muscles if you go to Shogun, because it’s hard work to find anyone who understands and can assure it’s accurate.
