A pure vegetarian Indian restaurant. Has vegan options on the menu but are not clearly labelled as such. Staff is accommodating of substitutions. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-11:00pm.
We were a little uncertain about ordering as nothing on the menu is clearly labelled if vegan instead of vegetarian. The staff were helpful in clarifying which dishes contained butter, but they also didn’t seem aware of what the term ‘vegan’ meant so we had to clearly state what we could/couldn’t eat. They were helpful in offering substitutes and advised they would cook ours to order using coconut oil instead of butter. The mains we ordered were the Aloo Palak and Veg Hyderabadi Biriyani which were both delicious, and the medium spice was a very manageable western level. The Black Chai tea was amazing - quite possibly the best chai I’ve ever had.
