My first all vegan place in PH - Edit
Small, cute restaurant with friendly service. They serve local dishes, creatively made vegan. Sadly, the last donuts were sold online already and they didn’t have any other pastries. I was really looking forward to vegan pastries!
Read moreI enjoyed the sweet bbq dish, but the sisig was too strong in taste and way too sour for me. It hurt my stomach and I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. It’s beautiful, but it tastes like when tofu goes bad- kind of vinegary. Also, it’s the only option with actual veg. While the mock meats are cool, I would still love some more nutrition in my meal, like some veggies on the side or something. I guess that wouldn’t be traditional though 😅 . The egg looks like an egg, but the texture and taste don’t quite make the bar.
The bbq meat was delicious, but I could use less of the “fat” glutenous part. Beautiful color and flavor. Would return to try more things!

Filipino food can take some getting used to, but I miss that sour flavour sometimes hehe... Too bad about the donuts!

For sure. I am excited to try more local meals, but it’s difficult to find places which make vegan meals in the villages.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m staying in my family’s village right now, but when I return to Manila, I’ll try to stop in!

Excellent vegan street food - Edit
The place is easy to miss, but definitely worth it. Tiny, cozy, fits only about five people at a time. Very friendly staff that speak great English. The food is exceptional. Some of the best I have ever had, and the price is very nice too. If you don’t like meat-like vegan food, this place may not be for you. Try the fruit coffee!

Delicious food 💚 - Edit
We ordered most items on the menu, and loved everything we tasted here. Especially the Kpops and Tocilog were our favorites. The place is a little small, so it doesn't fit a lot of customers at the same time, but it makes up for it with delicious food and low prices, as well as the option to order or take out.

We love Shirley's! - Edit
Tucked away down a backstreet, this place is worth tracking down for the authentic Pinoy breakfast dishes and amazing doughnuts. The fried 'eggs' are to die for! Very good price for excellent food. Lovely friendly owner too.

Very small all vegan bakery that packs a big punch - Edit
This is an all vegan bakery that makes cookies, cupcakes and donuts. They also make popular local dishes. They were sold out of donuts when I got there, but I did get to see a large box of them before they were sent out for delivery and they looked very good. I had a cupcake and a slice of chocolate torte. Very good.
