Traditional Japanese Food - Edit
They have two vegetarian meal sets. As others said, these are vegan. It was delicious Japanese food for a very reasonable price. I would love to eat something like this again!

Pros: 1. Having tofu as part of the meal, not just veg., 2. They serve fiddleheads!, 3. Local miso not found elsewhere.
Cons: 1. Many taxidermy animals on display.

I asked for the miso set menu and when I asked if it had any egg in it they were really lind to explain that it was vegan. It was really good. The only perk I saw was that maybe it was not very comfy as you sit on the floor with a pillow, japanese style, but the restaurant was really authentic and nice.

Delicious vegan set - Edit
Beautiful restaurant, well worth the visit only for the atmosphere. There were four parties before us in line but we only had to wait ten minutes before we were seated. There were a lot of options for vegans and clearly labeled. I had the vegeterian set (which is all vegan) and it was delicious. One of the dishes came on top of a jar with fire burning inside which was neat and added to the restaurant's charm.

Great Japanese restaurant with vegan options - Edit
We had the two vegetarian/vegan set meals and though both noted vegetarian they were also both vegan. The meals were wonderful and we were served a hot carafe of tea with the meal. There is a small parking strip out front to park.

There are two complete vegan menu sets, and 6 or 7 other vegan meals which are clearly specified on the menu. The dishes are delicious and are made with mainly local products. Very kind staff. Free tea.
