A hidden gem of a place

I could only give this place 4* as its not fully vegan but it’s earned every single one of them. They served us the best Cantonese tofu and Salt and chilli pepper tofu that we’ve ever had. All the beers are vegan too. Service was great. It’s a small place with a single chef so wait times can we quite long but the food was definitely worth it. I only wish we lived closer. All future trips to Devon will take a detour past this place until we’ve tried the whole Chinese vegan menu

Vegan chef does delicious Vegan Menu

After finding this little gem pub run by Mai and her lovely family, we visit frequently and will probably never tire of this delicious vegan menu.
Mai and her family are vegan too so really understand good vegan cookery!
It’s fresh it’s so tasty and is a real treat!
My favourite is salt and chilli pepper tofu with warm broccoli and pak Choi, garlic salad but the vegetable curry is a very close second!
Such a warm welcome, a lovely relaxing ambience inside and out! Totally worth a visit to Shaldon (Ringmore)
