Tasty and filling

Please note that this restaurant is not fully vegan. It does have some dishes that contain eggs. But having said that the amount of choices on the menu is staggering, so there is more than enough vegan food. I had a hard time deciding. I went with a bento meal and a miso soup. The bento was quite tasty, not as good as the other one I tried in the city (relatively near IKEA) but the portion was generous and it was cheap. Really happy that there was some tofu in the miso soup.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty

Cons: Not totally vegan

Simple tasty food

Went here after being turned away by at 8:40pm because they were resting until 10pm.

Simple place and the menu is huge and kinda daunting with the choices. We are on a "majiangmian" tour so we ordered that, a simple mock-meat fried rice, and stinky tofu (which came with a drink for free).

All food came out quickly and was good, about what you expect from a little shop like this. The stinky tofu was extra stinky but still good and came with some simple pickled cabbage. Staff were very friendly but better hope you speak Mandarin or even better, Minnanhua.

This place is 99% vegan but had some tea eggs out front and possibly 1 or 2 other dishes with egg.

Good local food

Vegan/not vegan : when ordering I said that I don't eat eggs or milk, the lady checked again what I had chosen and said they are okay, so like the previous review I suppose not everything is vegan.

I assumed the portions were smaller due to the prices but ended up with quite a lot of food, can't complain :)

Tasty, cheap, casual

No English here but the ladies were so kind with me and my google translate 😃 she recommended one noodle dish and I also chose tofu and other stuff from the buffet. Note that not everything from the buffet- she pointed three fake-meat that has eggs. Gave only 4 stars cause seems not to be 100% vegan

Pros: Lots of dishes , Lots of fake meat!, Very kind and patient

Cons: No English menu , Some dishes might have egg

Simple tasty dishes

Place is in a busy street and easy to miss if you're walking by so keep an eye out for the yellow signs.
Next to a tea shop where you can get all kinds of tea to accompany your food.
They have a wide variety of simple but tasty dishes: tofu, mock meat, rice, noodles. Either point directly at the food, at the pictures of dishes on the wall or order from the extensive menu (Chinese only). Owners are very friendly and helpful even if your Chinese is very limited.
They offer food for take away as well.
Seating area is simpel but practical like in a lot of Taiwanese places.

Pros: Many options, don't need Chinese skills to order

Super cheap and delicious vegan food

Inside Jhongsiao Night Market (near Central Park Station and Sanduo Shopping District Station) you can find a few vegetarian places. This particular one 聖林素食館 has cheap and delicious food.

I ordered a sesame mix noodles, small soy sauce mushroom rice, tofu soup and a drink. And it only cost TW$105, which is about US$3.5!

Most of the items are vegan. The items that are not vegan (contains milk) are 3 types of veggie meat.

The sesame dry mix noodles is one of the best I’ve had. Very aromatic and flavorful. The consistency of the noodles is also great. I could eat 3 bowls of this if I’m hungry. The other items are also tasty and great value.

One thing to note is that the drinks are from the shop next door so some of them are not vegan. Some may contain milk or honey.

Pros: Great food especially the sesame mix noodles, Very affordable

Cons: Not all vegan, 3 types of mock meat has milk

Super cheap and super delicious

A small restaurant which offers rice and noodle dishes. You can also buy some side dishes like cabbage, spinach and tofu. The menu is only in chinese but there are pictures. The super friendly stuff don't speak English but you can show the picture of the dish you wanna eat.

Nice food if you fancy mock meat

We came hacer and we loved the food, there is a menu with pics of you can pick what you like and they’ll cook it for you! Extremely cheap, less than £2 per person. I definitely recommend this place! Everything is vegan!
