Beautiful Sacred Space - Edit

This is a beautiful space and I've always been greeted in the Shekinashram with warmth and kindness. I absolutely love that they are totally respectful of the vegan way of life and serve only delicious healthy, vegan foods. This is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for a retreat to reflect and explore life in a bhakti and karma yoga ashram, with principle of living truthfully and in peace.

They have a daily program that includes various meditations, yoga, bajans devotional singing etc. It is a popular place for the local Glastonbury spiritual community too, especially for Friday night Bajans (which is devotional singing, that leaves you feeling really transcended and interconnected).

They offer accommodation for all budgets in clean, clear rooms (they also have a great 5 bed dorm option if you are on a tight budget). The food is prepared with love and tastes delicious.

They hold various events here, including their own healing, detox retreats. It's run by a beautiful team of staff along with volunteers.

It's right on the edge of town, so you can explore the countryside and Tor easily by foot right as soon as you step out the door. Glastonbury is a small town though, so it's only a ten minute walk to the High Street. It has a perfect location.

Not forgetting... there's a great little sauna on site, which is a wonderful bonus.

I've also hired this space at various times to run workshops, retreats and have our own guests stay here. So, I can recommend it from all sorts of perspectives.

Pros: All vegan, Welcoming energy
