Fast Casual Mediterranean at Politan Row Dunwoody

Sheesh is one of the vendors that call the Politan Row location in Dunwoody, Georgia home. Sheesh features a menu of mediterranean options that can be configured into wraps, bowls, or plates in a fast-casual style.

Sheesh operates out of the Politan Row food hall so all seating is community seating and alcohol is available at any of the food hall's three bars: the politan row bar, streakers, or okay anny's.

I ordered a falafel plate with hummus, pita, roasted vegetables, and a side of basmati rice. I chose toppings of cucumber-tomato relish and corn tabouleh. The meal definitely had some big pros and decent cons, but it was a solid stop. I elected for harissa and the garlic herb oil as my sauces.

The Good: The food was very tasty and the falafel was cooked well. The portions of everything were really generous. I really like the garlic herb oil sauce. The vibe was very casual and because it was located in a food hall, options were abundant for everyone.

The Bad: All ordering is done online via a QR code and the process felt very clunky - especially since it began with having to figure out the correction location. My order was not quite right as I was missing both the tomato-cucumber relish and corn taboulleh. The vegetables although tasty were very soft and did taste like they had previously been frozen. The wait times also varied drastically. I got my order quite quickly, but many who order before and after me had significantly longer waits. The price was quite a bit more than I expected - almost $30.00 for a plate, side of rice, and soda - but that tends to be where food hall prices are headed.
