Amazing pizzas, very average beer

Tasty pizzas with a great variety of vegan options. The La Luna (with vegan feta, rocket, thinly sliced roast pears, walnuts and cheese) and the funghi (all of the shrooms) were delicious. They’re small 10inch, we needed 5 to feed 4 of us.

Unfortunately, the beers were very average… more like home brew on tap. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back for the pizza!

Pros: Great vegan pizza options

Cons: Beer was not fabulous

Good vegan pizzas and beer

We had a yummy pear and rocket salad, one of the couple of vegan pizzas, some eggplant finger things and some excellent beer. Service was slow, but overall really a good experience. #Veganuary

Good pizza and beer in a nice space

We took a day trip to Castlemaine to check out the Mill and we had lunch here. We sat in the sheltered courtyard and checked out the menu, which was a bit different from what I’d seen on line, but I was advised all (10”) pizzas ($15 each) could be “veganified.” There was actually a share plate and snack menu too, which was largely vegan but unavailable on Sunday (the day we were there). For three of us I ordered a Funghi with cheese modified to vegan mozzarella; an El Gordo (Napoli, rocket, capsicum, onion, olives, garlic) minus the pumpkin, with vegan cheese; and a Zucca (Napoli, parsley, pepitas, pesto) minus the pumpkin. The vegan cheese, which cost an extra $3, was obviously a liquid sauce rather than a melted solid, but it was delicious, and went particularly well with the mushrooms. Pizzas were tasty and reasonable priced and the person also announced they were vegan while serving them, which I always appreciate. We washed it all down with a pint of beer, of which I was told all varieties on tap are vegan.

Pros: Delicious reasonably priced pizza, Good vegan mozzarella

Decent little hangout

Spent the day walking around the local area. Having this place to relax at, over pizza and beer/cider really made the day. There’s 2 pizzas that can be made vegan and plenty of vegan friendly drinks.

Pros: Friendly staff, Excellent location and lots of outdoor seating
