Nice restaurant

This restaurant is fully vegetarian and has a few good vegan choices, although they don't have the "two pages vegan menu" mentioned in the description. The waitress was very good as she asked about allergies and she warned about cross contamination for dosa (which is cooked on a pan which might have had ghee from previous dishes).
The food is good and quite spicy.
We found the price a little on the expensive side but it's a great choice if you've been shopping in IKEA because it's just a couple of minutes away by car.
In the same building there is a take away with a couple of tables where they sell a few vegan items both savoury and sweet. There is also a supermarket.

Too bland

Contrary to what is written in reviews below, this is not a vegan restaurant. They use sunflower oil instead of ghee, which makes most dishes vegan but certainly not al. They use paneer and the naan contains butter. Ask the waiters, and ask several times to make sure. I learned that our waiter didn't know what vegan was but just said that I could eat everything...

Cheap eat, buffet style, quick. For Indian, quite flavourless though. I missed something spicy.

Wonderful, filling and friendly

Fun and friendly - the buffet gives big metal tray plates and little pots to fill with the mostly vegan buffet items. There were a good range - from rich bean/lentil curries to fresh vegetables. The staff made us a delicious whole meal roti in place of the buffet’s naans which had ghee on them - at no extra cost. Really good vibe, and food was enjoyed by my daughter (7) and I both! Free parking. And take away Indian sweets, mostly vegan with helpful staff to guide in selection from the deli counter.

Pros: Lots of vegan options on buffet, Friendly staff made vegan equivalents for others, Great value

Delicious vegan Indian food!

Came on a Monday evening - after Ikea shopping hell nearby - and had the most delicious a la Carte meal. Loads of vegan options - we just checked with a member of staff to make sure what we ordered was suitable and then they confirmed with chef to make sure. Had delicious 5 vegetable dhal, spicy soy mince (yum!), stuffed aubergine, jeera rice and roti. We also ordered crispy spicy bhindi to start. A huge amount of food for two but it was so fab that we ate most of it, with only a very small amount to take home. Brilliant and can’t wait to go back!

Nice Indian restaurant nearby the temple.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, for us it was authentically Indian. They served free tap water and free chili.
with the buffet. They served four different dosas alongside with different types of rice bread and salad. No deserts on the buffet but they served gulab yaman, delicious sugary anise cake ball to the table for free. The buffet costs about 11 pounds including service fee.
For all vegans: there is no vegan food except from veggies, it's ghee in every dish!
Not really hot but they use a lot of spices so make sure to drink a lot the rest of the day :)

Pros: delicious, plenty, nice atmosphere

Cons: none, none, none

poor

Food was very poor, and so over priced, small portions. £6.50 for a tiny cup of lentil deal that was so salty it was almost inedible, and out other dish had so much sugar in it was almost inedible. Very sad to say I would never go here again.

Pros: There are no pros

Cons: So expensive, and food is very poor

Delicious

I've been for an a-la-carte meal and been for the buffet several times and it is always high quality and delicious. A bit spicy but my husband loves that. The service is always courteous and free water pitchers when you ask for them. All and all excellent food, not too pricey, very friendly staff. If you don't want to go into the restaurant there is a small counter with sweets and fried foods and some packaged meals. Also some icecream. And a fully stocked Indian/vegetarian supermarket next door. It is the full package to me.

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Great assortment

Cons: Can be busy
