The pita was the best part

Still stuck in Calgary, thought I’d give this place a try. I’m glad they have a few vegan options but disappointment here on a few levels. I got the vegan falafel & eggplant plate with a side of garlic potatoes.

Overall, no flavour in any of it or the flavour was odd.

Falafels looked like sour cream donuts from tim hortons, you could see the frier line on them. Also found some yarn within the falafel and also an eyelash (maybe) underneath them.

The salad was not good, no flavour again and a weird tang flavour (not a pickle flavour but just a weird flavour).

The hummus had no flavour (just needed lemon and salt) but it was alright. The potatoes were alright as well but just okay.

The eggplant was burnt and not edible.

Just an FYI on the side of garlic potatoes…it’s not garlicky because of the seasoning on the potatoes it’s the garlic sauce the have on it (which has egg whites). Sadly they put the sauce directly on it so I had to scrape it off, so ask for it on the side if you just want potatoes.

At least they have the labels on the website, which I posted on here. But they include the white sauce in your purchase so just avoid it.

Won’t be trying this again. Very disappointed, and didn’t finish this food.

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: No flavour, Hairs in food , Burnt eggplant
