No longer a good choice for vegans - Edit
UPDATE: We have been going to the Telephone Road Sharky's in Ventura for years. A few months ago, the former manager James, left to pursue a new career. He was always courteous, friendly, and kept the restaurant clean. We miss him.
Read moreUnfortunately, under new management the restaurant has suffered. The tables are often not cleaned. There are remnants of food waste on the tables and other surface areas such as the salsa bar.
Also, the menu was altered after the new manager took over. There used to be a section that detailed which items were plant based. That is now gone as well as many of the items on that menu. This is a mistake on the part of management. In the many times we've gone there with friends, there always have been people in our group that want plant based items. That is one big reason we went to this particular Sharky's location.
One more example, when we brought home items that we've picked up, we've found the portions are now smaller too. Overall, the quality just hasn't been what it used to be.
Finally, the current manager doesn't seem to have a personality that truly cares about these things. This had been a great place for a long while, so it may be the time to look somewhere else.

Don’t do it, just drive the extra miles & go to a full vegan restaurant. The food here is so gross. Not worth it. I threw it away.
