One of a few stalls - this one across from Taipei Main Station. Sells only two things: pan-fried vegetable dumplings and pan-fried buns with stuffing. Bun filling flavors are cabbage, bamboo shoot, and mustard green. No seating. Open Tue-Sun 6:30am-7:00pm.

Hot and satisfying - Edit
I tried six different types of stuffing - all good. Can’t say I loved one type more than the others. They stayed nice and hot for quite a while. Six cost only NTD 81. Cheap, easy, filling meal on the run.

Perfect! - Edit
This is a small stall close to the main station. They sell pot stickers and five different kinds of stuffed buns (cabbage, bamboo shoots, spoon cabbage, mustard (which means the leaves) and pumpkin). We came here nearly every morning on our trip to Taipei to buy something for breakfast and as a snack for during the day, as the food still tastes good when it‘s cold.
Read moreThe prices are incredibly small.
There are no seats, but the 228 Peace Park is nearby, so to have the food on one of the benches there is a nice option.

Tasty and cheap! - Edit
I ordered one of each bun and only paid 90 TWD! They’re delicious and make for a great snack/quick lunch. It’s just a stall so you’ll have to find your own seating but the nearby 228 Peace Memorial Park makes for the perfect place to relax and indulge! I definitely recommend checking them out! So far, they’ve been a steady part of my Taipei experience haha 😂

Tasty - Edit
Very tasty buns and dumplings. We ate them on the spot and also took some to eat the next day when we had a big trip ahead of us and wasn't sure if there would be vegan food. It was still good cold.

Fav in Taipei - Edit
One of my absolute favourite places in all of Taipei, if not all of Taiwan. The buns are so so so yummy, and the owners must have recognised me cuz I kept coming back every day and suddenly got an extra one

Realy delicious - Edit
We discovered this little stall by chance and came back the next day because we enjoyed it so much. The dumplings come with different fillings, all of which are vegan. The saleswoman spoke good English, and the different varieties are also labelled in English. Depending on how late you arrive, there is a wider selection. All the varieties we tried tasted fresh and delicious. We paid less than 1 Euro for two dumplings, which is a great price. Highly recommended. Cash only.

Excellent cheap and easy bao buns and dumplings - Edit
Not quite at the station, just over the road. Just as everyone says the dumplings and bao buns are tasty and quick. Perfect for anyone looking to fill up when near the station.

Early morning option - Edit
This place is great for a breakfast or quick snack on your way to/from Taipei main station. Tried a few different buns and they were all tasty, although maybe a little bit too much pepper. The sauces were a good finishing touch!

Delicious freshly made buns. They have a nice little variety of buns and dumplings. I went for the cabbage and pumpkins version. It was very tasty, but missing a bit of sauce.

Tried the spoon cabbage & cabbage bun, as well as their gyozas. It was very affordable and delicious. I‘ve found a hair sticked to one gyoza, so keep your eyes open. It can happen & I would still return there.

Potentially my favourite meal in Taipei - Edit
So glad to have tried this place before I left Taiwan. We shared the pumpkin, bamboo, cabbage and mustard buns. All of which were fantastic. Extremely affordable as well, we paid less than $4 AUD for the 4 buns. Definitely a contender for the best food I had in Taiwan.

So good, I've changed my travel plans just for another bite - Edit
These fluffy bun things are so amazing that we decided to change our travel route to come back and eat here. All buns and pot stickers are vegan. Today she had cabbage, cabbage with corn, bamboo shoot, mustard greens, sweet potato. The pot stickers are the bomb. Add sauces before you step away. The umami hits you with awesomeness.

Very good and inexpensive buns + dumplings! - Edit
What a steal for these fluffy buns filled with goodness! Picked up one of each flavor to consume while trekking across Taipei by foot. Also got a box of dumplings to eat later that day. It wasn’t the most outstanding meal in Taiwan, but it was an excellent lunch-on-the-go experience!

I already tried another outlet of this chain that sells super delicious pan-fried buns. Since I liked the pumpkin ones the best last time I tried them again. Also got a mustard one. So delicious! Got given a complimentary potsticker (sort of dumpling). The place is really cheap only 15TWD for one pan-fried bun. Potstickers run 60TWD for a serving of 5
