Perfect dumplings, cheap and quick - Edit
We visited another stall of this chain nearly every day when we were in Taipei and were happy to find this one during a day of exploring. It is basically the same as the one close to the main station.
Read moreThey sell pot stickers and five different kinds of stuffed buns (cabbage, bamboo shoots, spoon cabbage, mustard (which means the leaves) and pumpkin). It's perfect to eat right way when the dumplings are still hot, but it's also a good snack for during the day, as the food still tastes yummy when it‘s cold.
The prices are incredibly small.
There is not seating and we didn't find anything to sit on nearby, so we had the first dumplings just standing at a corner, which wasn't comfy, but that's not the stall's fault.

Pros: Variety, Very quick, Good taste, Completely vegan, Very small prices
Cons: No seating

Taiwanese breakfast place - Edit
This place sells some very nice dumplings. Opening at 6.30 it makes a great Taiwanese breakfast if you’re able to handle that. I personally really loved their coffee, it was absolutely fantastic. I tried almost all of the dumplings and all are great and it really comes down to personal preferences of which tastes best I think. We went here almost every morning for take-out breakfast!

Confusing deal but AMAZING FOOD - Edit
The lady is a bit confused and I was too. So it's 70TWD for 10 or just the FIRST type on the list or it's 18 for each dumpling 🥟

Try a little of each - Edit
I didn’t know dumplings could be so good without meat alternatives. Opens early and sells typical east Asian style can coffee in large portions. Excellent place to pick up breakfast.

I loved the vegan dumplings and potstickers, we went here almost daily during our time in Ximending. They sometimes sell out early.

Cheap and delicious - Edit
I visited this place every morning during my trip to Taipei. The buns are delicious and surprisingly filling. At 18NTD per bun I recommend you try all the different fillings, I personally loved the cabbage!
Read moreThere usually was English-speaking staff there when I visited, which was nice. But even when there wasn't it was easy to communicate. This store is cash-only and does not offer any seating.

Tasty and cheap! - Edit
We tried everything and liked everything! They were a little greasy and I think I prefer steamed buns, but still a great snack, especially for the price.

Excellent buns! - Edit
We love all the varieties in all the shops! This one is particularly convenient if you're nearby Ximen MRT. The potstickers at 10 pieces for NT$60 is such a bargain!

Perfect way to start the day - Edit
Are you looking for a savory breakfast? Or just a snack? This is the right place for it. I tried all pan-fried buns (bamboo shoots, pumpkin, cabbage). I especially liked the bamboo and pumpkin one. They are only 20TWD a piece so really affordable. Also they were super fresh. There is also a choice of sauces to put on them. Payment is only in cash.
