Shanes has great veggie dishes and mock meats for pizzas and tacos/ burritos etc.

Lots of space for groups on long tables too. It's not a vegan business, but dishes are vegan by default which is a pretty good model for a non vegan business.
Pros: Genuine real business, Mock chicken is delish, Lovely atmosphere

Read moreI've had the Mexican wrap, I can't remember the proper name for it. It had fake chicken and my god that was good. Today I went back and had the nacho fries and they were pretty good too!

Shane is the best - Edit
Shane caters to vegans and has options for meat eaters. This is a reverse concept as most restaurants cater to meat eaters with vegan options. I think this is great. Being a vegan myself, this is a brilliant way to change perceptions of vegan foods. Obviously, some vegans may find this offensive, but the world ain't gonna change by being ridgid. Good on ya, Shane. I like your ideology.

Read moreThe Dolly bus isn’t there anymore but it has a permanent Mexican kitchen on site open day and night.
Lots of burritos, nachos and more with vegan mock meat.
Also serves alcohol and has a warm relaxed atmosphere with lots of seating and puzzles.

Writing this as I sit at the table after having the taco platter. I am full! Great flavours, generous serving sizes. Coffee was very good. Friendly service, fun atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

My Favourite Mexican - Edit
Food was absolutely delicious, I didn’t grab any photos as I was too excited to eat the food. We got the Mexican shetta and breaky burrito I just asked for them to be vegan. Breaky burrito had scrambled tofu which was an absolute hit. Would highly recommend if I’m the area for breakfast ( keen to try lunch and dinner) and staff were super lovely

the BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had - Edit
I go to Shane’s very regularly and ever since I started going I have been extremely disappointed with any other Mexican food that I have. Nothing compares to the food here. The banana blossom tacos are an absolute standout for me, must try, they are truly incredible!
