Very fresh, very awesome, very cheap - Edit
Every dish tasted really great! I've had the Burmese tea leaves salad in a rice wrap and the chickpea tofu and I wished my plates full of food would be neverending. Very sad when I finished. Would def recommend.

Also a decent bathroom in the back.

Great food! - Edit
Luckily for me this place is just around the corner from my accommodation - I've only had one meal so far but it was very tasty and also very reasonably priced (my last meal cost about 20 times this as I was starving in an airport and the only thing I could get was a Subway!).

Simple but affordable - Edit
Quite tasty and affordable but you can see that the ingredients are cheap. All in all, definitely worth it, especially if you are on a budget, it is very very affordable

Bold flavours - Edit
Great affordable little spot where everything is bursting with flavor. They use eggs in a couple dishes.

Friendly little restaurant. - Edit
Great little restaurant down the left side of Wat Suan Dok. Has about six tables which makes it an intimate eating space. Menu is in Thai and English and the ordering system is easy, just write the number of the dish you want and hand it to the friendly chef. All food cooked to order and it's delicious. Prices have increased as they have everywhere else, so expect to pay 50 Baht for each dish.

Simple Shan Food - Edit
I ordered from FoodPanda and my dish of simple tomato fried rice was tasty and generous in size for the very budget-friendly price. Came with some fried chickpea tofu on the side. Not bad for 40b! I will try more dishes next time. Just a bit disappointed that it came in a plastic box, most places use the card box.

A terrific little Shan vegetarian restaurant - Edit
The food in this restaurant is truly terrific. Everything is cooked to order from fresh ingredients. The variety, especially for such a small place, is impressive, and so is the speed that it is cooked. Though there are a few Burmese restaurants in town, I prefer this one. By far.
Read moreThe service is warm and efficient. Though the owners / cook do not speak English, the menu is in English with photos. The place has a pleasant atmosphere. There is no air conditioner but there is a fan.
The inexpensive items (all dishes are 35-40 Baht) also include free water.
We are
Pros: Great food, Unique, Large selection and variety
Cons: No air-conditioner

Great finding - Edit
Relatively new place. I'm very happy they opened as I live around the corner! I tried for the first time today, and I'll be going back. I had yellow noodles and fried tofu with sesame sauce. Everything was yummi, I can't wait to try more stuff.

Taste of Myanmar in Chiang Mai - Edit
Small restaurant with delicious Shan and Burmese food - when you want to try something different from Thai food. Best of all, it's fully vegetarian. Just avoid egg dishes for vegan option. Very cheap too.
Read moreCan't recommend one dish because everything is good in it's own way. You can specify the spiciness you want. By default, they make medium-spicy for foreigners.
Delivery also available via Foodpanda and GrabFood.
