Ok and expensive

Cappuccino is ok and bagels is not bad. But can you baked at home that Save money because it’s too expensive.
These are too many people there. But beautiful look.

Expensive, mostly ok

Not the first place I'd pick nowadays, but I've been going there long enough that it's tradition.

Coffee is decent, vegan cookies are delicious.

delicious

I came in for the bagels! i just saw one vegan called tofutti, kind of expensive but really delucious (see photo) but then... they have a big selection of veganism and vegan cooking books near the coffe place

looking better... there is about 4 vegan options, but you just need to read (im to sleepy at the moment 🙈🤭)

Pros: great almond creamy cheese bagel, veganism books, vegan cookbooks

Cons: a bit pricey (not for budget vegans)

Everything I need

Got a Bagel, got a Book, got everything I need in this place, love it!
It's maybe not the most vegan place, but of you just need a place to chill for a Little while and read or work, this is it.

Waste of Money

Way too much money for a bagel a 10year old could've easily made at home. Serious waste of money.

Friendly

Friendly atmosphere. Bagels are really okay but certainly not better compared to NYC (some referees stated this here in Happycow). Lotsa books! Peaceful. Card payment only.

Delicious, fresh bagels

My husband says that this is the best bagel he has ever had, and we have eaten many bagels in New York City. It was great to have a fresh bagel with Tofutti cream cheese. There weren’t a whole lot of spread options for vegans, but I was still satisfied.

Pros: Quick service, Delicious bagels

Cons: Minimal vegan variety of spreads

Cute Café

They have some great bagels. Especially the everything bagel is great! Sadly some bagels contain eggs, so be sure to ask whether the bagel is vegan. They also offer vegan cream cheese, which is also good, but not worth the price…so just take a plain bagel and get yourself vegan cream cheese from one of the organic stores relatively close by (e.g. veganz or denn’s).

Pros: Atmosphere

Cons: Expensive

Vegan Cream Cheese Bagel!

Probably the best Vegan cream cheese covered bagel I've ever had. The bagel was so damn fresh and the cream cheese was to die for. Mix in the vibey bookstore atmosphere, friendly staff and great coffee - you can't fail! Also had a crazy chocolate cookie that melted in my mouth, heaven!.

Pros: Very good value, Friendly staff, Can pay with card

Cons: Long queue

5 stars!

I‘m always happy to find some *good* bagels in Germany. I also love good coffee and book shops, so this place has easily become one of my favorites in Berlin. The vegan cream cheese is a bit pricey but really good. There is also a vegan chocolate cookie. The cafe also offers space to sit and work. The service was great too.

Very good bagels and coffee

They have a few vegan bagel options (more veggie) and they are very good. A bit under-seasoned, but very generous size. The coffee is really really good and there are a few vegan sweets too. The bagels are a bit expensive and I've have mixed experience with the staff.

The bookshop itself is charming and there is a section for social justice, political theory, and some vegan books too.

Great bagels with vegan options

These bagels are the best you're probably going to get in Germany. It gets super busy in the mornings so be prepared to wait in line. Vegan Tofutti cream cheese is available. If they run out of tofutti, I recommend the hummus. Love the everything bagel and salt n' peppa bagel.

Pros: Quick, Tasty, Good for mixed-diet groups

Cons: Very busy in the mornings

Great for inspiration

Bought a book, and cookie and coffee to sit. Found a quiet place, but overall quite noisy in there. Don't go, if you don't speak English, they won't understand German (at least the guy that took my order). Coffee and cookie were good, but nothing special. Loved the varity of books though.

Pros: Food is okay, books are great

Cons: Pricey

Delicious bagel

This place was recommended by a friend so I wasn’t sure what vegan options there would be but I was happily surprised that they had a vegan cream cheese option clearly marked which I tried which was very yummy, you could also get a hummus or avocado bagel, the staff were very helpful about which bagel buns were vegan (almost all of them!) and the detox juice was delicious, cosy atmosphere and it’s worth having a look at the books afterwards. Also the vegan cookie was so good. Perhaps a little expensive for a bagel shop, mine was about €5.90

Pros: Great food, Cosy atmosphere

Cons: Maybe a bit pricey
