Delicious Falafel - Edit
Great falafel, a good amount of food, food is fresh, friendly staff. Nice that the food is gluten-free when served on a plate rather than in a pita.

Very Tasty - Edit
The family and I tried this food truck, it was really really good. Not a huge menu but they can easily make vegetarian items vegan. Two of us had the falafel pita and two had the roasted eggplant pita. Both were delicious. I loved the spicy Moroccan hot sauce (it is very hot and I love spicy). The fries were good too

Cons: Not a lot of seating. Itās shared with other truck

Super Slow Service - Avg falafel - Edit
Took 35 mins for a falafel that was mediocre. They kept telling us 15-20 mins and even took more customersā orders telling them the same. The fries were soggy and not good.

Fresh and tasty vegan option - Edit
Really fantastic falafel and the fries were good too! The pita was super soft and complimented the fresh cabbage and pickled veggies well. I also enjoyed the lemonade, I mixed both flavors at the suggestion of the guy working there. Be aware - the Moroccan hot sauce is HOT, and I say this as someone who loves spice. It should not be added to your sandwich if you donāt like spicy things, but if you are a real spice lover this will be your jam!

Very good - Edit
The guy serving us was extremely nice and knew how to bait me (easy, a free sample). The falafels are simply delicious and the ingredients are tasty.
Read moreLemonade was very good and was 4$ with 2$ refills. You can buy 3 falafels for 3$ which is always nice.
The bread in my sandwich was a bit soggy but I donāt think it is usually.
Pros: Perfect service, Falafels, Lemonade

disappointed in quality . - Edit
After looking at the website and seeing a beautiful green salad I thought that is what i would receive with my platter. Instead, a tiny cabbage salad, and lots of falafels . while the falafels were tasty, they were very Salty, and unfortunately fried in Canola oil. I leave the review in hopes the business will improve and use quality oils and not mislead with photos of items they donāt carry . thank you .
Read morePros: Tasty, good texture falafels , nice guy serving
Cons: Very Salty falafels, Friend in Canola Oil, no fresh greens

Delicious and filling - Edit
My husband and I had a great lunch at this food truck. We shared fries, which I was so excited were gluten free, and I got the falafel platter. This was one of the tastiest and most filling vegan meals Iāve had on Kauaāi.

Best Falafel on Kauai - Edit
Was a wonderful surprise on how amazing these falafels are. Great portions also. As a resident to me most of islands food trucks are better than the restaurants.

Best vegan meal so far on the island - Edit
Surprisingly good falafel out here! The owner(?) was offering sample falafels to people coming by. I've had many falafels, and this is among the best!
Read moreThey also have shakshuka and sabich, and all 3 are available as pita or platter. Shakshuka and sabich usually have egg, but I asked for a sabich pita with falafel instead. It was really good!
In the default search results, it doesn't show up as a veg restaurant but it should! Technically, it's a food truck, but it's the best option for a decent dinner that I've found (vs the smoothie bowl style places that show up, most that close in the afternoon).

Pros: Excellent falafels!

Delicious vegan gluten-free fare - Edit
I signed up for HappyCow just to write a review for this place. Fantastic food! I had the falafel pita sandwich, and my hubby who has Celiac had a gluten-free falafel platter with gf fries (yes, they have a gluten-free fryer). Sooo good. Tons of food in the platter for hubs and he said it was the best falafel heād ever had. I asked them if all the menu items are made fresh on-site, and the answer was yes. It certainly tasted like it. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic, fresh and tasty! - Edit
The falafel and hummus were home made, fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend. A great value for the money. I received 9 falafel balls with plenty of hummus and fresh tomato and cucumber salad with the platter option. We are already talking about going back!

Great MidEastern Food - Fresh and Yummy - Edit
Shakalafel is great middle eastern food served fresh by the nicest people! Many of the options are vegan and all are vegetarian. Falafel is very yummy with all kinds of toppings and a healthy tehina drizzle ! For people who, like me, do eat eggs - shakshuka is a fantastic flash back to Jerusalem. Yummy seasoning and really nice people who run the Food truck. I highly recommend this to all veggie types who are in the area!
