Hugely Vegan Friendly Bubble Tea Shop! - Edit
Shaka Bubble Tea is a tiny Bubble tea shop based in Llandudno with no indoor seating and a limited amount of outdoor stools. The family run business is open about being a vegan forward business, but they are not strictly vegan.
Read moreAt the time of visiting, I'd say that about 3/4 of the drinks were suitable for vegans. This means there are vegan options across all their menus, including the Bubble Teas, Specials, Dole Soft Serve & Milkshakes. The menu contains vegan labels, including on the added boba menu, and the drinks that are not made with a vegan recipe but can be adjusted to be vegan have a 'can be vegan' sticker. They use oat milk as a base for vegan drinks. Some of the vegan items on their menu include:
- Vegan Soft Serve (Chocolate, Vanilla or Twist)
- Milkshakes (Oreo, Biscoff, Chocolate)
- Bubble Tea (Chocolate Truffle, Milk Tea, Taro)
I had a Large Tiramisu Milk Tea with Chocolate Boba and Regular Sugar and Ice. The drink was absolutely delecious, easily the nicest milk Tea I've had to date, but I personally found the chocolate boba a little too sweet, so I'd go for a different one next time. If you're into your bubble teas & and shakes and want a special vegan treat, then I'd highly recommend a visit to Shaka Bubble!

Good vegan selection - Edit
I ordered the Chocolate Truffle with chocolate Boba and less sugar. It was just the right sweetness level for my taste and I would definitely order another next time I'm in Llandudno. There are four milk tea vegan flavours chocolate truffle, tiramisu, taro & milk tea. All of the fruit teas and slushies are vegan, as are all the toppings. There are five items on the specials list all of which can be made vegan.

I absolutely love their bubble teas. They have the traditional flavours but also different ones such as biscoff and Oreo.
It’s the best one I ever had, totally changed my taste regarding bubble teas!

The pineapple dole whip is to die for and fully vegan. Lots of vegan options for the bubble tea too. Definitely worth a visit
