Many Vegan Options

A restrung with beautiful decor and a great atmosphere. The online menu labels gluten free and dairy free items. They also have a vegetarian section on the menu. I had the Dal Tadka and it was quite good. This is a nice place with quite a few vegan options. #Veganuary

Pros: Great Food, Nice Atmosphere, Many Vegan Options

Cons: Not Fully Vegan

Delicious Indian Veggie

I find that whenever traveling, Asian/Indian is one of my only vegetarian options in some cities. That being said, Shari Palace was delicious. I had the Baingan Bharta and it was delicious with a nice spicy flavor. Coupled with rice and a roti, it was a very good meal. The menu has a vegetables section with nice choices

Pros: Nice vegetables section on menu, Nice flavors and spice levels

Cons: My server could have been just a bit friendlier.

Absolutely love Shahi.

Lots of vegetarian options and plenty of vegan options as well. Alu Mater and Chana Alu (both vegan) are my personal faves. Service is always great.

I have not gone to the lunch buffet. I’ve been told they always have one vegetarian option(not always vegan). You can still order off the menu though.

Fantastic Indian food

Shahi has a fantastic selection of Indian dishes including vegan appetizers and entrees. The menu marks which food is “dairy free” and “gluten free”. Staff is knowledgeable about vegan diets and if you have already tried all the vegan items, they will recommend which vegetarian items can be made vegan and what will taste best! They have a very large selection of fantastic dishes. I would recommend going during dinner time so you can order off the menu. Lunch time is buffet style, they will let you know which items on the buffet are vegan, but you have to ask. It’s usually better to order off the menu anyways (especially if you like spicy food so you can order it how spicy you want it!) Overall, one of the top places for eating vegan in Sioux Falls and is always worth the visit!!!

Pros: Wide Selection of food, Menu marks “dairy free”, Delicious Indian food

Cons: Buffet only has 1 vegan item or non (order off men
