This place shouldn't exist

Firstly, this place has horrible management. All the employees hate it there and they don't let them have their tips. Also, they stole the name of another cafe on the same block. This is an entrepreneurial gambit by the corrupt managers of the money grubbing bourgeoisie co-op down the block. They use expired ingredients from the co-op and have no interest in helping the community. Please go anywhere else to eat.

Pros: Closed, Covid-19, Going out of business

Cons: Exists, Workers don't keep tips, Co-op bosses suck

BEYOND Meat Burger

They are offering the Beyond Meat burger. It's great and the fries are good too!

Pros: A few clearly labeled vegan options.

Cons: Not enough vegan options

Excellent Po' Boy, helpful staff

I had a work meeting here and was pleased to find a couple vegan options, along with some dishes that could be made vegan on request. I asked the person at the register many questions, and they were knowledgeable about the menu. They recommended the Cauliflower Po' Boy and it was amazing! The cauliflower in the sandwich is fried and came out piping hot, and I feel like $12 is a fair price because it's a substantial sandwich, and they don't take tips.
There's a lot of seating, and they serve beer and wine. They also had sorbet from Sonny's, but I didn't try it.

Pros: Good quality food, Knowledgeable staff
