Lovely Local Landmark - Edit
The cafe's been taken in-house for 2023 (soft relaunched 8th April), but suppliers and quality remain the same.
Read moreMainly drinks (offer oat milk) and sweet treats; we did get a vegan sausage roll one time. Ollie (castle manager) and Lola (catering manager) intend to trial more local suppliers. Bookable cream teas on first floor will also return.
The tower's viewing platform has been renewed, and is worth a try when open and visibility is good.

Pros: Vegan-friendly
Cons: Not cheap, but funds the castle

They dont have ice coffee but even on such a hot day it was so nice to get a latte, sit on the benches outside and people watch. They had a chocolate caramel vegan cakes and some banana bread both of which looked amazing !!!!
