Looked promising. But…. - Edit
The menu looked promising with three vegan main options. However the ‘Pan Fries Tofu’ was just a block of soft tofu which had been seared, no flavour or marinade. The couscous was nice. But we needed to order a side of fries to make enough for a meal

We went here while struggling to find somewhere vegan and reasonably priced in Grasmere, I had the pretzel bun vegan burger (with pickles!) which came with fries and coleslaw and my partner had the Thai green curry. Went down a treat. They also had the interesting option of chargrilled broccoli with confit garlic, lentils and curry sauce, but I was in the mood for something pub standard. Servers were friendly and accommodating as it was fairly busy and had to sit nearer reception, but it was a great dinner. Would recommend!
