Four lucky people - Edit
Love to visit this Japanese small plates restaurant whenever we’re in Bristol. Great selection of vegan/ veggie options and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The highlight of the menu is that much is locally sourced and high quality, as well as being full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and attentive. We also like the casual dining atmosphere and the outdoor seating and heating. Great food without it being stuffy or too formal. And the cocktails & kimchi fries…. 😍😍😍

Nice small plates - Edit
My faves were the futomaki, the oyster mushrooms and the aubergine. The strawberry cocktail was also excellent. A tofu dish would be a nice addition to the vegan options!

Lots of vegan options. - Edit
Came here for a date night while in Bristol. The vegan options are extensive which was great and the flavours were good but I was disappointed with my food because everything arrived cold. It’s supposed to be like Wagamama in that food arrives whenever it’s ready but my Mapo tofu could have been in the fridge parts were so cold, same with the celeriac the only warm dish was the cauliflower wings. Really tasty but the temperature of the food ruined it. Also didn’t love the vibe inside for a date but good for a louder group of friends.

Great food, Limited menu - Edit
Great food, but the options are generally limited, hence dropping a star. However, whatever you do order is fantastic.

Very nice - Edit
It's owned by the same people who manage Four Wise Monkeys, but I do think SLG feels a bit more refined.

Decent - Edit
Some tasty vegan options but can be quite oily. The vegan sushi is lovely when available. Would love more protein rich food, the vegan options are mainly veg and carbs, some tofu would go a long way

Tasty, unique experience by the waterfront - Edit
Awesome place to visit, trendy, restaurant made from cargo containers. Dont let the quirky style put you off, there is outdoor seating as well. The vegan and veggie Korean style food is very tasty and reasonably priced.
