I went with one of the sandwiches, because albeit having a charmingly designed interior it was also crowded and sitting outside right next to the street didn't seem appealing to me.
The sandwich was a kind with barbecue sauce, various vegetables and some fake meat (which the staff earlier explained to me, but alas I forget). The sandwich was acceptable in size but the taste was mediocre. The bread seemed a little dry, maybe not quite stale yet. It was falling apart in the paper bag while eating.
I might return for the sweets given the chance but I don't recommend the sandwiches.

A very nice cafe hidden a little bit, but worth to find. The coffee and cakes taste fabulous. The staff is very friendly, takes time to explain each cake and best of it all understandable for me in English. 😀
Read moreWe had one of three small tables in the cellar. There is also one extra seat at the piano. The cellar is shared with a tailor. Therefore you can also do shopping while having your cake. Very extraordinary Ambiente with good music.

If you are vegan - this is the place you must visit. The Napoleon cake we had is something I'll remember for quite some time. We had some other cake and eclaire too, and they were excuisite as well. So I'm sure whatever you choose - you wont be dissapointed. The waitress/barista spoke excellent english, so she will be able to help you choose.

When I visited SEREDA, I ordered a slice of their strawberry cake and a slice of their orange cake, to-go. The cake slices were refreshing and decadent to eat, and I'm glad I tried them on my last day in Kyiv / Kiev.
Read moreI don't remember seeing any indoor seating, as they are a place where you order your desserts and enjoy them elsewhere. As other reviewers have noted, their shop entrance is hidden and easy to miss, but you can find it easily using both Google Maps and the Happy Cow photos.

My favourite cake shop - Edit
This is hands down the best vegan cake shop I've ever been to. Every time I come there (which is quite often) they have some new varieties of desserts and drinks. In addition, they share the space with a dress atelier, so you can gey some tasty treats and have a perfect makeover montage at the same time!

English info for foreign travelers: multiple members of the staff spoke good English and helped explain what the various items were, pricing, and confirmed it was fully vegan. Really nice people, too!

It’s also on top of a cool clothing store and tailor with a mix of new and previously worn and altered women’s clothing, so you can grab a snack and walk around downstairs and check out some cool clothes and jewelry.
Has some vegan sandwiches available along with the pastries. I had the Napoleon and shared it with a non-vegan friend who confirmed that it was, indeed, phenomenal. Not exactly cheap, but worth it!
