Affordable veg food - Edit
Good selection of rice and noodle dishes - pictures of all dishes can be found at the hawker counters. Vegan options aren’t labelled, but everything is vegetarian and the written menu shows which dishes have egg. Staff were happy to remove the egg on request from selected dishes (we ordered the dumpling noodle soup, pan mee and claypot noodle, no egg). The claypot wasn’t the best (I found it has a strange aftertaste), but everything else was decent, and it was all reasonably priced. The restaurant has a casual feel but is large with lots of seating available. There is also a shop section with a selection of vegetarian condiments (such as veg oyster sauce, veg meat floss and veg anchovies, etc.), packs of noodles, and snacks, available for purchase.
