The one and only place I eat when visiting family

Love the service here and tofu bibimbap is amazing! The tofu is crisp and great flavours in the vegetable and rice mix. Served clay pot style 😊

Pros: Great quality, massive portions , Friendly staff, Cute robot waiters

Cons: Not too many vegan options , Chicken smell can be intense

Tasty Korean Vegan Options

Tried the Tteokbokki and the crunchy Tofu Bibimbab plus a small serve of purple rice. The Bibimbab has a variety of flavours (incl. Seaweed mixed with Spinach, Soy sauce mixed with Rice) which tasted great. The Tteokbokki was, as advertised, spicey, the taste was prob a little on the sweet and salty end but overall it tasted pretty good. I used the extra purple rice for the Tteokbokki to reduce the heat of the chilli as I normally do not eat such spicey food (had to try it!).

The restaurant itself was busy (good sign) when I walked in, seemed like a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly and approachable. Only did takeaway so cannot comment on the actual dine in experience. As another person mentioned, there is a slight smell of foods which may be bothersome to some Vegans.

Lastly, the online ordering portal doesn't have all Vegan or Vegan available options clearly labelled, so when picking a meal, there's a pop up that lists what else a person would like to add. Some meals then have 'Vegan available' as an option to tick.

Pros: Tasty meals, Variety of Vegan options, Very friendly staff

Cons: Price tag of the small tub of purple rice, cost $7, Online ordering tool doesnt show all VG options

Delicious vegan Korean

This place is great for vegan options, which is so unexpected for a restaurant with ‘chicken’ in its name. We had a range of dishes including kimari, tteokbokki, tofu bibimbab and japchae noodles. All were fantastic and I would recommend to try here.
The only thing which may be a bit of an issue is that the restaurant has a strong smell of fried chicken (duh), so dining in might not be every vegan/vego’s cup of tea. I got takeaway both times so wasn’t an issue but can see how it would turn others off.
