Senior Uva (Cave) is a sweet space that seats around 23 guests, so it feels cozy. They could make any of the vegetarian dishes vegan except two. I had the ceviche, cauliflower and the vegan panna cotta, each were so delicious, well-presented, and and a lot of flavor. They pay attention to detail here and I felt like I was having dinner at a friend’s home. I highly recommend and get the ceviche!

This may be the best experience I’ve had in plant based cuisine. The rare occasion I have wine ended up with a limited edition bottle of wine that the managers gave lit up when talking about it. They only had 1 bottle due to the rarity. The host was waiting street side with a warm welcome.

Make a reservation (it’s a small space) and come here. There’s a good number of tapa style vegan dishes and they are excellent. I thought the dessert was especially noteworthy and one of the best I’ve had.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food (small portions, to share) was original, flavorful and very good. We foolishly didn’t make a reservation, but luckily they could fit us in before the dinner rush.

Utterly magnificent. One of the best dining experiences of our lives. Everything was 11/10 magical. It’s hard to explain. We think what we loved the most was how they paired bold creative plant-based creations with the most relaxed casual and friendly setting. Wow. Just go. NOW.

Perfect first night in Lisbon - Edit
We came across this place in Monocle magazine and we’re so glad we made a reservation. The food was delicious, as was the wine and the service was brilliant-really helpful making some of the veggie dishes vegan. Everything was delicious, the chocolate orange dessert the most memorable! It was super busy, the atmosphere was great and it was great watching the staff keeping everything running smoothly. It’s not formal but was the priciest place we ate in Lisbon (but well worthwhile). Would recommend to everyone for a special occasion or evening to remember, try to book the side of the restaurant the kitchen is in!

Going to Senhor Uva is a guaranteed good night! The food there is amazing and perfectly paired with incredible wines. It’s not cheap, but it definitely should not be cheap for this quality of food and service.

We went for a birthday dinner and asked the waiter to pick 5-6 vegan dishes for us to share, in addition to ordering bread and olives. Everything was delicious, nicely plated, and the combinations on the plates were creative. It is a higher end place so the prices are a bit high for Lisbon but it's worth it for a special occasion and to have a unique meal. We tried a couple of wines that were great as well. The staff explained everything that was served and were very friendly and helpful.

Read moreI spent a lovely dinner at Senhor Uva. They serve a very gastronomic cuisine made with local and/or organic products. The plates are as beautiful as good.
Their wine selection is also great.
The staff knows the menu very well and will point out which plate are vegan or possibly made vegan.
I'll definitely come back when they'll change the menu for summer.

I visited as a solo traveller and had such a delicious dinner. I chose 2 of the smaller plate options - not all are vegan, but the staff know which can be made vegan! Their recommendations were great, not just for the food but for the wines too. I tried 2 very different Portuguese reds, which were both absolutely gorgeous. Thanks! 💚
