Has a la carte as well as a lunch buffet for a great price (13e per person in 2026) that includes dessert, salad bar and coffee. Hidden fully vegan gem in southern Helsinki, easy to access by tram from city center. Staff speak English & Finnish

I went to Sen Việt for the Saturday brunch and I was not disappointed. It is an excellent choice for an extended lunch when you have time to try several dishes. And everything is vegan!

Would love to give a recommendation, but I just couldn't enjoy the food. Maybe à la carte is different.
Read moreWe had the buffet, which consisted of 6 different hot dishes, rice, salad and dessert. Water and coffee are included and you can get a refill. The buffet itself is not labeled, so you better be daring. I mainly noticed tofu and vegetables, also noodles & rice of course. It is possible to eat till you drop.
Unfortunately, there were no highlights for me in terms of taste, everything was bland.
Penny-pinchers will get their money's worth with the low price for the buffet.
There were two women on duty, neither of whom could speak English. I don't want to take that for granted, but it made the experience more awkward for me. If I had the choice, I would prefer a restaurant where I can communicate with the service. But since everything here is vegan anyway, that wasn't so important.

They offer a relatively affordable brunch (a buffet for 15,90€) but I unfortunately can't recommend it. Dishes were not labelled and everything was just a bit meh and bland. I liked the rice paper rolls and sauce, though! The place is also very quiet: we were there for 2hrs and were the only ones there for the whole time, so the food sits on the buffet table for a long time.
