Small vegetarian restaurant located in the Hakaniemi area, behind Aktia bank. Offers mainly Vietnamese cuisine with fried rice, fried noodles, pho, and other choices with tofu and vegetables. Food is available for pre-ordering and takeaway. Reported May 2017 to be now fully vegan.
Note May 2020: confirmed open. Open Mon-Sat 11:00-19:00, Sun 12:00-19:00.

This small restaurant has a good variety of dishes. The service is friendly and fast. And the meals are really good. Nothing fancy, just great food.

I absolutely loved the large array of delicious vegan proteins available. I got the Pho with ALL the proteins and it was sooo good! They also had a lot of cute non alcoholic drinks to choose from, which is a plus for me!
Read moreMy only issue is that the portion of pho I got was huge, like it could have fed 3 very hungry people. Unfortunately I was alone and unable to take leftovers, so the rest had to go to waste 😭 I wish restaurants would warn you about portion sizes!!

The food was lovely but unlike other reviewers I've definitely had better Vietnamese. It could have done with more Vietnamese herbs in my opinion. Also the restaurant closes at 7pm and by 6.45pm they were mopping the floor and we felt very rushed to finish eating, so not very comfortable.

It's hard to find non-bland food in Europe and this is one of them. The self-service is great since we go for the food, not to be served by waiters in fancy suits and napkins on their arms.
Read moreIt's also one of the few places where you can get spicy food. Not always the dishes themselves but there is a container of chili sauce on the table that you can just dump into the soup or whatever and it's amazing.

Wonderful Vegan Vietnamese in Helsinki - Edit
Tasty, filling, proportionate (in size of the dishes to the prices, as well as in oil to vegetables), lovely little spot hidden away from Hakaniemi hustle. Overall a must-eat in Helsinki if one is craving great Vietnamese.

I came here for a quick lunch. The place was a bit hard to find. There was only one option, and the price was OK. The food itself was very good and my overall impression is that this is a solid everyday option for those who often visit the area.

I had fried udon noodles which were delicious, and there was enough tofu and the portion size was just perfect. There were only about five tables in the restaurant but people were happy to share tables.

The food here is always amazing, big recommend! The restaurant itself is really small and bit hard to find at first, (although easy and fast to get to by metro, only two stops from Helsinki Central Railway Station) so I really recommend ordering takeout.

I am very happy, that I found this tiny restaurant at happy cow! It is a little bit hidden and we would never have found it by ourselves. The food was excellent and authentic! Very fresh and hot, directly out of the little kitchen to the table. Payment only by card.
