Excellent vegan flavours - Edit
Plate of 3 dishes, with as much green tea as you want. Such subtle flavours in all the options we sampled. Crunchy salad, delicious seitan, creamy quiche, all with plenty of herbs and flavour. We loved it! Proper plates and cutlery would make it even nicer - the quality of food is so much better than a paper plate!

Ottimo per una pausa pranzo veloce, i piatti sono preparati con ingredienti semplici e sani che variano ogni settimana. Lo trovo leggermente caro ma sono comunque molto felice che esista una gastronomia veg ad Aosta.

Con piatti semplici ma originali, Semi di Sesamo è ormai un punto di riferimento per quasi ogni pranzo fuori ad Aosta! Permette di fare pasti completi con cereali sempre diversi, secondi piatti e contorni (che non siano le solite verdure grigliate!) e ovviamente non mancano i dolci. Locale accogliente e pulito, personale gentile e disponibile.

Meneer spreekt Engels en Frans en mevrouw Italiaans. Toog staat vol veganistische gerechten waaruit je kan kiezen. 1 schotel of 3 verschillende soorten op 1 bord. Geen prijzen op voorhand. Vriendelijke mensen, eten is voldoende en lekker.

Great place, so nice to have a healthy detox from pasta and pizza! Fridge full of trays of about 10 vegan foods to choose from. No pricing info before you get the bill, but it seems you can have a plate of 3 things, they’ll heat up the ones that should be hot, and its about 3-5 eur per item so 12-15 a plate. Served on single use compostable plates & cutlery.

Unfortunately I was only able to try this once before I left Aosta. I don’t remember what I got exactly, but one dish was seitan, one dish was black/red rice with carrots and peas, and one dish was rice with tofu and tempeh. This was comfort vegan food with so much flavor!! The man at the counter was very friendly. Loved it!

Everyone loves Semi di Sesamo, even my omnivorous friends. The staff is incredibly nice, and their food is exceptionally tasty - and healthy! Their seasonal selection of goods is never boring.

I really wanted something healthy after a long hike and this place was perfect for it. We where still wearing our sports outfit but since the atmosphere there is very relaxed it is no problem.

The only thing why I don't give 5 stars is that they use single use plates, forks and knives ans plastic cups. It would be great if they improve this in. More sustainable way.

I was very happy to find this place, as I somehow missed the other veg restaurant in Aosta. In addition, they are open all afternoon, which is unusual for the area (country) and very handy.
Read moreThe counter guy was very nice; I don't think he spoke English, but (as in the region generally), you can use either French or Italian if you have them, and even if not, it's all pretty straightforward (he did give me extensive descriptions [in French] of the ingredients).
The food itself is reheated, pre-prepared stuff – common for veg places in Italy, it seems – but, despite the fact that it was not freshly made, each of my three items had pretty good taste, the seitan with gravy, in particular. I would not say they blew my socks off, but they were nice enough.
The one element that gives me pause is the price -- 12€ for three little portions on a paper plate. I do understand that that is probably moderate for the town, but for 3 bigger portions at a similar kind of place in Torino, I paid 5.50€. I do feel like that price is pushing it a little for pre-prepared, reheated food (at least, if it is not going to be mind-blowing).

Very cosy restaurant/cafe with lots of selections! I ate three different dishes and all of them was tasty, even my non vegan family really enjoyed the food! The staff was super friendly as well:) Highly recommend!
