Among the dishes offered are nutty vegetable pie, aubergine tempura with sweet chili dip, fennel soup, date and cashew nut pie, butter beans with couscous, chocolate tart, Swahili bean stew with polenta, and cinnamon mondazi. Curious small mammals such as bush babies and genets may stop by at night to watch the diners.
