Disappointingly Rude - Edit
We tried to visit as one of the very few places we can eat in Bayeux only to be told "we're full" with no option to wait or sit outside, even with empty tables outside. Ended up at a pizza place up the road who were only too happy to make pizzas without cheese for us.

Brunch - Edit
Specified avo test, no egg, along with zucchini muffin and soy cappuccino. Servers know what vegan means. Rare vegan option in Bayeux.

Lovely little cafe with vegan treats - Edit
In this area, you will struggle for sweet treats that are not full of dairy. This little gem offers a vegan Buddha bowl, many vegetarian options and two lovely vegan desserts. We had one of each, of course! Very tasty - and washed down nicely with a soy milk cappuccino each. Worth a visit.

Vegetarian place, not much for vegans - Edit
They have a breakfast, brunch and lunch menu, 90% of it vegetarian. They have a list of daily specialties on a small blackboard in front, they usually have one or two sweet vegan options on there. They ask 1€ supplement for soy milk in your beverage which is frankly hard to understand. The staff is nice, the prices are okay.
Read moreWent back for lunch, they offer one black rice bowl with veggies, hummus and chickpeas. The rice is cold which was surprising but overall good. The vibe is really nice too

Not very vegan - Edit
Although this restaurant promotes itself as vegan, it is not. It is a vegetarian restaurant with very few vegan options. Disappointing.

A cosy, stylish place with tasty vegan options. - Edit
We had the tasty vegan apple pear almond crumble - not a huge portion but very delicious. They also have different sorts of coffee with plant milk.

An oasis in carnivore normandy - Edit
We were so excited to stumble on this cafe /restaurant which servers proper vegetarian and vegan food, which is particularly rare in this part of the world. We had bruschetta as part of their brunch menu. There are also vegetarian choices with egg. They serve a very wide range of teas which we enjoyed. Has a great atmosphere.

A rare find in Normandy - Edit
We found Selma Alabama by chance when the veggie restaurant we were planning to visit (Lemon Perk) was closed. Vegetarian/vegan food is pretty hard to find in Normandy - especially options that aren't based around cheese, bread and omelettes - so being able to have a fresh, veg-filled meal was wonderful. Everything is presented beautifully and with such care, and the staff are so friendly. They're fairly new and I failed to take any photos (you can find some on Google reviews) so I can't recall the details but hopefully more people can visit and post reviews now the cafe is on Happy Cow!
