Self-serve yogurt bar and salad bar, also serves soup in the winter. Most of the salad bar ingredients are vegan as are 4 of the salad dressings and 3 of the yogurt options. Yogurt cups are made from biodegradable materials and 10% of profits are contributed to charity. Reported closed July 2020.

Best froyo ever

I have a thing for great ice cream or froyo. Selfys by far is the best froyo I have had : this has been my second trip over and I have not been disappointed. The small batch made fresh in the kitchen is by far the best tasting froyo. I like the way they mix things up and constantly changing the flavors . They have a good selection of non dairy , sugar free options and I tasted most of them. Try the coffee it like drinking a cup of Joe but in a froyo, not to sweet but you get the hit of flavors from the bean. They also have fresh made from scratch soups with no powder bases and all fresh vegetables . The salad bar is fun and have many toppings to choose from. You can also forgo the greens and make a salad from the toppings- my favorite . I’m not a fan of dressings but they have a wide variety of them all made fresh in the store and also have some non dairy ones as well
Well worth the visit and your taste buds will thank you . Nice decor and don’t forget to take your Selfys at Selfys .

Pros: Great froyo options, Great salads and soups, Clean and bright

Great Vegan Selections

I love the self serve concept and was so happy to hear it came to israel (and with many vegan options).

I spoke with the owner, she is vegan herself, they make all the flavors on site using only fresh ingredients. They are constantly rotating their flavors and have many interesting combinations that other places do not have.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Definitely go!

Cons: Hmm. Maybe that its not all vegan!

Tempting but Disappointing

I have tried the ice cream here on multiple occasions, as I love the idea of a self-serve design-your-own sundae, but the experience has been repeatedly disappointing. Kudos to them for making the effort to include vegan flavors and toppings, but they all taste very sugary and industrial. While the vegan options are clearly marked on the soft-serve machines, at least one has always "shared" a machine (albeit not a nozzle) with a non-vegan flavor. The vegan toppings are not clearly marked, and more than once the staff hasn't been able to communicate what's what, or didn't make the effort to look up the ingredients. At the end of the day, it's just ice cream, and it still tastes fine, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to give this a try, with all the other amazing homemade vegan ice cream options in Jerusalem.

Cons: Too expensive for the quality of the product, Less than knowledgeable and helpful staff

Hi Jared,

We are sorry to hear of your experience. I can assure you that all of our flavors are made onsite using only fresh ingredients. Nothing is industrial or bought. In order to offer more options to vegans, unfortunately, that means one machine is "shared" like you mention, but there is no contact between the non-dairy and dairy flavors. They are in separate hoppers, cylinders, and have separate nozzles.

The staff has a list of which flavors are made on what bases, and if they are not sure a manager, would be able to answer your questions. I am sorry that they did not help you out. That is unacceptable and is something we will be communicating to our staff.
