was not impressed

sekushi has quite a few vegan options listed. i would clarify before ordering anything to make sure it’s vegan. i got vegan fried rice with tofu and asked that it had no butter or egg. the waitress came back and said they can do it without sesame and soy - i had to explain that vegan was no dairy or egg. they were able to do it but as it was marked vegan on the menu it made me wonder if i would’ve gotten egg. the tofu was actually wicked good, i just wish it had more and less rice. the rice was rice, it didn’t have a lot of flavor. the waitress told me it was cooked in canola oil and it seemed literally drenched. if you’re going with a group for people who aren’t vegan, you’ll definitely be able to find something, but if you have the option i’d pass.

Pros: good tofu

Cons: lack of clarity if stuff is vegan, oily rice

Delicate flavors

The vegetable dumplings were delicious and had delicate flavors. The sauce was particularly good. Yaki udon with tofu and the mushroom broth was also nice. My partner and I shared and it was enough for dinner. #Veganuary

Great options on Clearwater Beach

Several marked vegan items on the menu, including veggie dumplings, tofu bao bun, vegetable hand rolls, and tofu udon. Be careful if you are sensitive to spice as the tofu is very spicy. The veggie dumplings were very well prepared- a standout on the menu.

I would rate 5 star if I could

About 4 or 5 Vegan options on the menu. The waiter, Lucas, was very knowledgeable and has a Vegan dish named after him. I had the Vegetable dumplings and my husband had the Udon Noodle Bowl with mushroom broth. They also have vegan sushi. Only one listed on the menu, but they seem very accommodating so I would ask for what you want. Also, they are open at noon, now.

Delicious gem

Surrounded by seemingly just seafood on Clearwater, it was awesome to find this place. While there wasn’t a huge variety of vegan options, there were enough that I had trouble making my meal decision because they all looked tasty. The options that they did have were very clearly marked (GF too), and absolutely delicious.

Great food very impressed

Waitress knew about vegan food which was a nice plus, and the food was pretty awesome. I would recommend checking it out for sure.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Food sizes kinda small but it’s cheap so ok
