Reservation System - A Joke - Edit
You can enter date and time when you want to come. And then the system tells you, that seats are not availble at that time. Trial and error at its best.
Read moreAs a chef you do not have to be a good web designer. But the customer experience starts with the booking, not with the eating.
Cons: Reservation system, Internet page

Breathtaking!! - Edit
Probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had! Chef David Jesus and his staff deserve a standing ovation 🙌
Read moreWe had the chance to ask some questions and the menu changes every week, so you are always in for a seasonal surprise. The food was remarkable. The combination of flavors and textures was spot on, the recommended cocktail went perfectly with the food, and everyone was genuinely nice and concerned with our experience. It’s a pricier restaurant, but it’s worth every penny IMO.
Eager to go back! 🌱💚

From the initial welcome, through the tasting menu and wine flight, the tastes and experiences were superb. The imaginative dishes are not to be missed, e.g. bread soup and Grandad's cabbages.

Like a Michelin starred restaurant - Edit
You are greeted into the nice cosy restaurant by super friendly staff. They are really attentive to your every need. They even gave me a cute hook for my bag. Then, they squat beside your table in a really familiar and friendly way and tell you all about the dishes. We asked for a starter of grilled leek to share and then two mains of Ravioli and "Cabidela vegetal". All three dishes were good, albeit with an overpowering taste of (balsamic) vinegar. The main dishes didn't come at the same time, for which the staff apologised profusely claiming it had been a misunderstanding. The ravioli turned out to be a raviolo, singular. Yes, the portions are quite small and expensive. The chef had experience in 3-starred Michelin restaurants. That probably explains it.

High quality restaurant - Edit
This restaurant is amazing. The idea is that you try several options from the menu, so for example you can easily do 2 starters, 1 main dish 1 dessert and leave perfectly satisfied (this example is for 2 pax).
Read moreThe food is definitely high quality.
From the moment you walk in the door, you’re greeted by the chef and staff, who are really nice and they walk you through all the dishes, making suggestions.
The potato churros are great and the chocolate dessert is a must (it’s delicious).
PS: The photos I’ve added don’t do the dishes any justice, poor lighting. The food is really good, go try for yourself 😊

Wow, wow, wow - Edit
The cannelloni was phenomenal. I think it had truffle in it even though not advertised as such. The vegan Wellington was also heavenly. Every bite was to die for. This place is opposite a saltwater swimming pool attraction. But I would travel to this restaurant just for the food and proudly take non-vegan people here. We loved it. The reviews do not exaggerate how good it was although pannacotta not for me. You should really book before coming here as it seems to be popular and you may struggle to get a table.

Expensive/Small Portions - Edit
Nice and friendly owner/chef. We had bean and rice (new menu). Well presented and tasty, but extremely small portions. The mushroom, potato and cornbread was yummy (13.50 euro), but it had only cornbread crumbs and maybe five thin slices from half of a potatoes-very disappointing.. The was a bit salty. Would not return or recommend. Not full vegan!

The best vegan food I've ever had - Edit
The food is just amazing. I can't remember when I'd eaten so well last time, probably before going vegan. I went there two days in a row accompanied by an omnivore friend who was as amazed about the taste of dishes as I was. My personal Top 3 are canneloni, gazpacho with strawberries, and desert with apricots and very smooth "yoghurt". Yummy. I envy people of Porto for having such an amazing place.

Maybe the best restaurant I've ever eaten in. - Edit
I took my non vegan grandparents (and very reluctant granddad) there and they were both amazed at how delicious all the different meals were. The flavours are surprising, original and wonderful, everything is finely done, presentation is gorgeous, products are fresh... Go there if you are a lover of good cuisine. Feeling very grateful for the experience.

Trust the reviews! - Edit
I came here with my wife for lunch when it was very quiet, which was fortunate because the chef came out to make recommendations then talk us through each dish served. He has put a lot of love into all of the choices on the menu. I would say the dishes are slightly on the high side of sauces and mayonnaise/aioli, but I suspect this is due to the chef attempting to cater to the tastes of the locals in northern Portugal where I think they like their food with gravy. Still, I would say this is one of the best plant based restaurants I’ve ever been to in either London UK or Portugal. I will definitely come back and try everything on the menu I’ve not already tried.
