Pleasant find in Gyeongju - Edit
It was hard to find vegan options in Gyeongju so we were really happy to have found this place! They do serve meat but it was just 2-3 dishes out of the 10+ dishes they served in the set we ordered (we had non-vegans in our party). The pumpkin rice was good but overshadowed by the japchae and perilla leaf noodle soup. Those were so good and I’d recommend just ordering those. If you’re not a fan of stronger flavours then you can order the pumpkin rice and vegetable dish (I think it was kailan) and japchae. The perilla leaf soup was very nutty in flavour and while it was my favourite thing there, might not be for everyone.
Read moreStaff looked tired but were very kind. Also, there is a dog at the entrance who will bark at you but it will not bite or come close. More of a welcome!
Pros: Huge portion for price paid, Largely vegan dishes, Delicious and authentic Korean cuisine
