Permanently Closed - Edit

I tried to visit them for the first time last week, and found that they are permanently closed. I posted a photo of the sign in the photos section.

Pros: 100% Vegan...but permanently closed

Cons: permanently closed

Wonderful food - Edit

This is a little gem. The foods are creative and entertaining as well as healthy. So many places think vegan means "bland", but not here. Great seasoning but not overdone. Wish it were open for dinner, but the take-out works.

Pros: delicious, good atmosphere and service, healthy

Cons: not open for dinner

Amazing Food & Even More Amazing Staff! - Edit

This is absolutely the hardest place in the whole of Santa Rosa to find, but with the patience and "coolness" of the staff, and the whole Delish thing going on, I'd have to say this is a "top notch" place worthy of strapping on your most comfy trekking shoes to "seek it out."
Colton at the Seed and Leaf restaurant is both very cool on the phone and in person... Honestly, a man true to his word! And that's the ONLY reason why we got our fantastic food from this surprising Happy Cow find. Because, Colton said "No Worries" even if it was a few minutes past closing time, we could still get our takeout order. So, we did. The food was luke warm by the time we got back to the hotel AND STILL AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS... UNBELIEVABLE! I'm totally sold on the food at the Seed to Leaf and will definitely be back despite the trek to this greatest "hidden" treasure ever!
We thought we were doing a quick Take Out, Pick Up order To Go order. Happily, the GPS said a quick 10 minutes from the hotel, so I told Colton when we put in the order we were on our way and should be there before they closed their doors in 15 minutes. Well... not quite!
Being from out of town has its set backs-- you just can't always rely on your GPS to send you in the right direction. Since I was driving, my husband's job was to jump out of the car and pick up our phoned in order so we wouldn't have to do the Downtown parking. So, as soon as we reach the Downtown area and hit all the one-way streets, we got lost.... and my husband kept saying, "LET'S JUST FORGET IT!"
Oh my gosh, my mouth was just drooling with anticipation after all the reviews I had read about this place. "No Way," I said... "I told Colton we were coming and he said it was okay if we ran late." Well, long story short we finally got our order... 45 minutes later. But, true to his word, Colton from the Seed to Leaf, talked my husband who was on foot via cell phone, all the way over to the restaurant. My husband was 2 or 3 blocks in a completely different Downtown area frantically running back and forth on the wrong street. We couldn't believe it, but Colton guided my husband on his cell phone all the way into the restaurant. What a guy... that Colton!
My husband had some sort of veggie burger he was chopping on after we returned to the hotel. I looked at his face while he was eating and he looked pretty happy after all his complaining and running around on foot to get it. Now that's saying something about the TASTE because he doesn't like warm food... he likes it HOT! And yet, after he started eating his burger, he didn't even give me my token BITE! Definitely a compliment coming from my husband!
In the meantime, I unwrapped my veggie lasagna. No way... it was tiny AND no pasta? I was sorely disappointed. However, after I tried it... IT WAS SO FABULOUS... WOW, I'M COMING BACK FOR MORE NEXT TIME! An indelible taste imprint on my flavor memory! What an amazing place to go in Santa Rosa!
I've posted pictures for all to see in this extraordinary place... then you can SEE what it's all about... and decide if it's worth the hike. I definitely think it's worth it... and I think you will too... over and over... and again and again!

Great food!!! - Edit

Finally... A wonderful Organic Vegan Restaurant in Santa Tosa!! It's about time! I live out of town but my family is in Santa Rosa so this will be my new spot whenever I come visit. I went twice last weekend and everything I had was amazing. The cauliflower, kale and artichoke dip, Buddha Bowl and raw pesto pizza were all wonderful! I highly recommend this spit!! Please try it and keep it thriving!

Woohoo!!!! A Vegan restaurant in Santa Rosa!!! - Edit

I'm SO excited this restaurant opened. Healthy organic food!
Although...they say they are 100% organic, but I noticed the coconut water is not organic, which makes me wonder what else might not be organic?

Potato & leek soup was good. Cauliflower was good. Air fries were good. Deserts are good. Acai bowl was good. They could use a plate warmer so dishes stay warm longer.
Restaurant manager is very nice.
Nice decor / atmosphere. Temperature is cold for me. Bathroom very cold.

Healthy and TASTY! - Edit

My three visits to Seed to Leaf Organics so far have exceeded my expectations. Not only is the food exceptionally tasty and delicious, the ambiance and décor are also very pleasant, and the service and staff very friendly. My favorite dish was the Green Pizza, with a wonderful blend of flavors created using a sprouted buckwheat crust, macadamia cheez, pesto, black olives and micro greens along with fresh tomato and red bell peppers. It was beautifully presented with a hearty portion of side salad, which had a light tasty dressing. I also had the Tomato Basil Soup, which was bursting with flavor, and nicely presented with a sprig of fresh basil as garnish. Last week I got the Cauliflower Soup and a smoothie to go, and both were exceptional! Zach made me one of the best smoothies I have ever had (the Almond Cacao Smoothie with the addition of kale to enhance the health benefits). Today I began a 3-day juice cleanse, where they will customize the 5-juices per day to provide the benefits I desire. As a Holistic Health Counselor and Raw Food Educator/Chef, it is great to have Seed to Leaf Organics offering such healthy and delicious foods which I can recommend to my clients in the Santa Rosa area. I will definitely be a regular customer, and look forward to trying everything on their menu!

Pros: Delicious, Healthy, Beautifully presented
