Words fail me in expressing the amazing flavors and elegant dough offered by Secret Pizza Society. I love the upbeat and unpretentious staff is, the unassuming but fun storefront, and the serious deliciousness of the pies. My go-to order is the classic pepperoni and every time I take the first bite I salute the heavens for allowing plant-based pizza to taste this good. You will adopt this place into your regular rotation, no question.

I loved my husbands pizza that was just cheese basil and tomato, I didn’t really like the chalupa Batman that I ordered but that’s just me! They do make good pizza though it’s just about finding what you like! The people are so nice here too.

A cursory look at the reviews made it appear all 22 reviewers had given it 5 stars. This made me a bit skeptical, as there's ALWAYS someone who won't care for something (if even just to go against the grain), so I thought maybe the owners friends had all done the reviewing or something. Then our order came. The first bite eliminated any skepticism because it was SO DAMN DELICIOUS. The crust is thin and crispy with a light dusting of super-fine salt which I liked way more than I thought I would (not a huge fan of salt), the sauce wasn't overly seasoned and globbed on like a lot of places, and the BBQ chiken didn't have the standard faux meat texture that's too often a miss in my book. It was the perfect balance of flavor, portions, and ingredients. I ate the entire thing and didn't feel bogged down after; I was full but didn't feel gross like I normally would after horking down an entire pizza. The price ($12/$13) was completely reasonable and I will be back again and again.

I love that they answer “pizza!” when they pick up the phone. I love their pizzas even more. The crust is likely a delicious focaccia. Everything we’ve gotten here has been delicious. Favorites include Brother Wilton, Absolom, and Reddy Kilowatt.

So many pizzas and salads to choose from, it was hard to decide! Lucky for us, the menu offers a Twins option, where we could choose 2 pizzas and 2 salads. So creative and so tasty. I'm going to be dreaming of the Caesar salad probably until I get it again. Yum! And the pizza crust is just amazing.

The crust. I could write erotic love letters to this crust and it wouldn't be creepy at all. Truly the best homemade crust on Earth (not sure about the other planets yet). The sauce and soy curls and cheeze and all the other great toppings deserve their own float in a parade. I was here back in March and had a really great experience. The staff are genuine and friendly and helped give us suggestions on adding extra toppings if we couldn't decide on just one type of flavor. I even had to go back in a couple days to get more pizza before I left town. I dream of going back to rendezvous with this pizza again after covid days are over. I'll never forget you SPC!

The first time I got a Caesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. So delicious! And "bacon" on the fresh lemony salad! The second time I got a different variety of pizza. Just as pleased! Love this place. Good pizza crust too. Will definitely be back multiple times!

Read moreThe options to get combo meals is great and both the pizzas we got were out of this world delicious! Even the salad dressing was amazing!! It’s a very small and intimate space with lots of local art displayed on the walls. It’s very cute and I will definitely go back often!!

This is SUCH good pizza. As others have mentioned, the crust is phenomenal and if you haven't tried the Pyro (Pizza Gyro) it is sooo good. Ask those working what they recommend for the pyro tho because I think some of the pizzas work better as that type of dish than others!

THAT CRUST. I would eat an entire plain crust it's that good. So buttery and light yet chewy... hard to explain but impossible to forget. The pepperoni is very flavorful with a nice zip! The cheese also has a great rich flavor. I can't believe I waited so long to try it. Seriously amazing. 20/10!! Already planning my next visit!!! Easy parking too!

Split the Chalupa Batman and the Classique Pepperoni. Both were fantastic. l may be developing a slight obsession with their crust. Price is on par with other quality pizza places and I wouldn't hesitate to suggest it as an option when feeding a mixed diet group.

I’m always happy to see a new vegan place open, especially a pizza place with a ton of great toppings. We tried them first during Pizza Week when their Chalupa Batman Pizza was on special. We went back recently and tried the Brother Wilton and Kissoons’ Loop with side salads. Everything was fantastic. We are looking forward to working our way through the whole menu.

Great tasting Vegan Pizza - Edit
In Portland for a week and found this on the Happy Cow app while looking to see what options were in the area we were staying. Haven’t had pizza for a few years and thought we would have some for dinner. All vegan pizzas so no having to figure out what we could have, just had to narrow down the choice. Tried the Classique Pepperoni and the Brother Wilton. Both were delicious. Highly recommend this place and will be back when I am next in town. Found they have only been open for a month or so, and am glad my trip was after they had opened. Definitely try this place out if you are in Portland.
