Gourmet Pizza Experience

Secret Pizza is exactly that, a well kept secret featuring gourmet style Italian cuisine. Because of the limited opening times it's probably best to make a reservation, it does get very full and there were many signs reserving tables up.

There is a separate salad and juice bar that can be vegan. I was able to get a lovely mixed vegetable salad and you have to ask for the the oil and vinegar, there was a ready made dressing but not sure if that was vegan and it looked a bit like mayonaise or creamy. I got a fruit shake without milk or sugar.

As for the food, if you are vegan or even just veggie, it is best to message them or call them and ask for your options. I don't know if the pasta is vegan or if they can do a risotto. There were some special veg lasagna and ravioli options, but you did have to contact them in advance to order them, like the day before.

We had a Laotian style pizza with chilli and garlic and it was delicious. The base was very thin and crispy. It's a bit out of town, but the gourmet experience was worth it. If your vegan, you can ask if the base is without dairy and possibly do a pizza with out cheese, or a sort of garlic bread pizza, it would still be really tasty.

We got the tiramisu to take away (not vegan), for some reason we got only two spoonfuls, I think we got someone else's take away by mistake. Even though we only got two bites, they were divine.

With only one pure vegetarian restaurant In Luang Prabang at the time of this review and not many amazing veg options, this is a special place to definitely check out, especially if you like Italian.
