Amazing modern menu, lots of sushi, nice drinks and bowls. Some of the menu items have a high focus on presentation with dry ice as well. Evenings/Weekends reservations are highly recommended.

Food expensive, not the best quality, staff nothing to write home about, my drink was not good at all. Doesn't have aircon so don't even think about going on a hot summer day.

El Secret Garden no solo es el primer restaurante japonés que se abrió en Berlín si no que además hacen fusión y los platos son un show. Es un poco caro pero la experiencia vale mucho la pena.

The sushi is mediocre at best and the service is not really outstanding. The interior hasn't been updated in years and they basically don't accept cards. The sushi looks nice but something is lacking. I cannot recommend it for this price.

I really like casual dining places and am not picky about the interior in general. The place has a pseudo fancy interior, but seems a bit run down. Our table was really sticky so we asked for it to be cleaned, but they used a rag reeking of beer. Not the best to start a nice dining experience.
Read moreThe menu is quite extensive and promising. We ordered the signature dish for two to get to taste a great variety. The food arrived within minutes (all prepared and waiting?) and the presentation was nice. However, most of the rolls were not as flavorful and creatively combined as expected.
The whole experience seemed a bit rushed and I've been to better all vegan sushi places. I might still come back if I'm in the area and craving sushi.
Pros: All vegan sushi, Central location
Cons: Staff a bit bored and not friendly, No amazing flavors in our order

I absolutely love love love this place. The sushi tastes amazing, they also have one which is fried on the outside and I have dreamt about it. I am not lying. Do come here and forget your stress for a while, while having the best meal.

Vegan sushi above a vegan supermarket! - Edit
We had planned to visit the vegan supermarket and then saw there was a sushi restaurant on top and it was dinner time so we decided to go there.
Read moreIt was decorated beautifully inside, even down to the tables, which had plants inside the table and glass top.
There was enough choice that we had to think for a while about what to order.
We ended up going for Yakitori Skewers, Dumplings, Inari Nigiri, Iretzuma Art & Tempura Tiger Rolls.
The Yakitori Skewers were perfection. The texture was interesting and the sauce was delicious. One of the best things I've ever eaten.
I love Inari Nigiri so that's why we ordered but this was very disappointing as it had little to no flavour.
The rest of the meal was lovely. The tempura was lovely and crunchy while the truffle complimented the maki.
The total was a bit expensive but sushi in a capital city is always going to be.
Would visit again.

I only came for a small dish and had the Golden Koi sushi, which was okay in taste. The interior is special and I would come again to try other dishes.

I have been twice to this place. The first time was really good but the second time was a bit disappointing.
Read moreThe second time the food was served within minutes from ordering. It felt a bit rushed and the gyoza's we ordered weren't really warm. The sushi chef's platter we ordered was overall good, but not every type of sushi was as tasty. In general I believe there might be better vegan sushi places in Berlin. I still would recommend this place for the ambience though, the interior is really pretty and it offers nice views.

I really like Secret Garden, for their huge selection of sushi, including "salmon", "tuna" and so on. Their sushi is really beautiful served, and sometimes they add a "steam show" to the plate.
Read morePersonally, I think that the sushi needs a bit more taste however. And my friends I was at Secret Garden with, thinks too.
Maybe we are not just fond of the black rice? My personal favourites is the ones with regular rice.
But my final verdict is a recommendation, however with some room for improvement in some peoples opinion.

Wir hatten das Sushi für zwei Personen. Es war so so lecker, einfach jeden einzelne „Sorte“. Sehr tolle Kombinationen. Außerdem war die Aufmachung total cool, das Sushi kam auf einem ramen mit einer rauchenden Schüssel. Kann es kaum erwarten dort mal wieder zu essen.

Wonderful restaurant overall, particularly the sushi stands out. A little complaint is that because the sushi is so delicate and excellent, it’s a bit of a pity that some of the sauces paired with them, while also very good, are strong enough to overpower the subtler flavors. Curry and Udon Bowl were also quite nice.

An unpleasant experience - Edit
The waiter was very unfriendly. We are tourists and did not understand him. He was confused about the dishes when we asked him if the sushi was without "tuna" he said yes without and finally brought the dish with the "tuna". He brought us cream borla which we didn't like at all, we gave a bite and asked to return it, he didn't return it and demanded that we pay for an unpleasant and not enjoyable experience from the place. But underneath the place there is a vegan supermarket with plenty of vegan stuff

I came here after going to the Vegan Vegana supermarket on the ground floor. Also a vegan shoe shop on the first floor, which was closed when I visited the restaurant. There is a lift to the first floor. Very nicely decorated restaurant, staff were friendly. Great range of vegan sushi and other Japanese dishes. I had a flavourful curry with noodles and with a lovely crispy cracker on the top. The tea was nice too. I did not try the sushi, but if I went back I would try it. Reasonable price and really tasty food.
